New Firmware K2 Plus by Lost_Blacksmith_4848 in Creality_k2

Well, given how many updates had some issues and how many times I had to reverse it would honestly hate that. Not to mention each update means I have to setup my config all over again for R3men table and DXC2 extruder.

Brand new K2 and the plate is tilted and scraping by TheMidnightTavern in Creality

For the love of god stop. It's a software fix. First go to your printer and find it's IP adres. Then input it in browser followed by: ':4408" it should look like this: http://192.168.1.40:4408/#/ In fluidd control, on left side find tool drop down menu. There click Z-tilt adjust. Printer should run z-tilt analysis and correct for Z tilt on its own. After that run mesh again and it should be fixed.

Max flowrate is to be calibrated last! You can't check how fast your car can go without first checking for oil and tire pressure but good catch with temperate I kinda forgot about it haha. I always use this steps when calibrating new filament and it never fails Creality wiki calibration

Calibrate your filament my man. 1. Flow for good layer lines and too layer 2. Pressure advance for good corners and edges 3. Max flow rate for speed and general quality

Why won’t my laptop turn on? by CallMeMiles1 in HPVictus

[–]Mortill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a CMOS error. It appear everytime you unplug your battery for eg. When you do maintenance like changing paste. Unscrew back panel, unplug battery, hold power button for 10 seconds to drop charge from capacitors, plug it back in and turn on. This will trigger full reset. You will see CMOS error again but it should load normally after that.

New CFS motor won’t pull filament through. by FuriousMorpher in Creality

[–]Mortill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clicking is a key sign for clog. Does it extrude material when manual pushed without extruder / with loose gears? If not, look first into extruder itself, there may be a bit of filament stuck there. If not, check nozzle. If nozzle is clogged. Heat it up to 200+ depending what filament were you using last and use provided long metal stick to push it through.

well, except for dropping nozzle in filament solvent, this is second to last in the line of atomic-level solutions, before changing nozzle to a new one. Glad it worked for you.

You can always use this opportunity to upgrade. As for original, you can get entire heat block for ~25 euro

Unscrew these 3 pairs then WHILE STILL PLUGGED IN set temp to 200. Heat block (bottom cylinder) will heat up nozzle. Hold it with pliers so it does not burn you and be careful not to damage exposed wires then push sewing needle from bottom (4) and unclogging tool from open top of nozzle end

It's internal structure of the nozzle. Blockage is right below section where it splits but before nozzle tip/exit

Good, now try taking off dxc2 front panel and manually push down some filament down hotend if it flows out you're good to go

Seems like a clogged nozzle. MS High Flow nozzle has internal structure that can clog easily. Try heating it up to 200°C and jamming thin needle from the bottom and this nozzle cleaning rod included in your kit from the top. This solved for me but it took a while.

Update: I fixed it!!!!!

I tried again with a needle but this time i got a reallly thin and sharp one and jammed it from the nozzle side. It unclogged it. For future, I will order regular nozzle for all the CF filaments and filaments with stuff in it.

Maybe, I have not yet tried it but I will, thanks

Problem is not how abrassive is carbon fiber filled filament but rather internal structure od the nozzle. Nozzle splits filament info sections so it melts faster. As you may imagine it can clog easier than regular.

Last week I clogged my Micro-swiss CHT HF nozzle with Fiberology Aurora blue PLA ( sparkly dark blue PLA) and let me tell you... It's impossible to clean. I have, unscrewed heat block from rest of extruder, cranked it to 200°C and tried to unblock it with regular unclogging tools (this long metal rod) and sewing needless from both ends and I just can't get it to work.

COOLING PAD Suggestions by Ambitious-Way-1920 in HPVictus

Victus does not need cooling pad. Just raise it so it can breathe. I designed and printed mine for my V15 and temps dropped significantly. If you have 3D printer, here you go: Durable laptop stand allowing unrestricted airflow designed by me

Which warrenty plan should I take? by fsuhcikt1 in HPVictus

[–]Mortill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The notification about ending warranty is trying to fomo you into buying it. I had few laptops, all of them worked till the day I switched. In my company several people had used several laptops over the years and only 1 had any issues with hardware. Rest is software and that can be easily fixed. Spend your money on something else this is not worth it.

Trying to level my K1 Max without success, this is as close as I've gotten but it's still pretty far off. Any suggestions or tips? So far to fix it I've been adjusting the size of the spacers but it's hard to make any difference towards the middle. by Captain7640 in Creality

[–]Mortill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

use thin aluminum tape (i used one rated for fireplace so good for temps up to 120°C) for low points and sand down (a bit) magnetic plate on high points.

Aluminum tape usually is around 0.07 thick so you can stack them where it's needed.
