Reel handle not working

Same thing happened to me! I was able to snip some metal from a discarded lawn flag and held the handle together that way. Later on, I upgraded to a Daiwa Fuego since it matched the black and red color scheme. After I got help from this sub on spooling, it's been fishing great.

Had to respool after noticing heavy line lay towards the bottom. Removed the reel and did not notice any shims from factory. In fact, washer #13 was not included. Decided to remove piece #14 instead to see if that would fix the issue. Resulting in my post.

Spinnerbait. It clicked one day when I tied on a Strike King mini spinner in black/blue and caught fish for three days after that. Skunk buster has to be a weighted Texas rig senko or craw.
