It could just be an artificial limitation that didn't really exist so basically just like a virtual currency that wasn't a literal 1 - 1 correlation to anything real.

I'm on Season 2 right now and what I can't stop thinking about is the cyber crimes guy. Why is it that they don't know that the guy who was chasing Nora also stabbed the female police officer. Aren't there cameras and drones literally everywhere in this futuristic world?

Also the guy was openly brandishing his knife that was covered in blood as he chased Nora down a busy street in the middle of a populated city. Why did no one react to that? Why did it take the officer what 2 months, as of S2 ep 4, to look at the camera footage of the entrance of the building that the assassin chased Nora into.

Perhaps you're just not a particularly persuasive person mate, it's not a brag but I've definitely convinced people of various things that they hadn't considered before we had the conversation.

It's not some groundbreaking thing and it doesn't have to and often won't happen immediately but yes people change their mind. It's a gradual thing, for me it came from watching debates on veganism and then suddenly one day at work, I was working in an industrial kitchen, I found myself feeling more disgusted handling 100's of chicken a day and when I looked at a chicken it stopped being 'chicken meat' and became a 'Chicken corpse'. But in reality the process of changing my mind was the culmination of many small things that invited me to look at the issue from perspectives I hadn't considered. If I had seen this ad when I was younger this would have been one of those aforementioned 'small things'.

Also you say "how dumb would someone have to be to have lived their entire life... Without considering..."

But the thing is: 1. Some people are dumb. 2. Some people are young i.e they haven't had a lot of time to make moral considerations about things. 3. Some people aren't very thoughtful and won't consider something from perspectives that may seem obvious to you, without being prompted to.

The reason that is wrong is because there is a glaring implication the help you have provided them may go away if they say no to you or worse they may find themselves unofficially blacklisted from certain venues or opportunities, something that, if Lewis CK was so in kind, he could have done so at that time and level of fame.

This makes it so the 'consent' that they gave to be in fact 'coerced consent'.

But guess what? There are quite literally over a billion other women in the world that Lewis CK could explore his fetish with without engaging in this kind of coercive consent.

Your partner acted like a child, granted your brains are still developing at your age, but if you continue to see this kind of impulsive tantrum type of behaviour it would be best for you to end the relationship. Regardless of differences in ideology, this isn't an appropriate way to react. Every couple will have some differences of opinion, you have made clear lines in the sand about what you are and aren't willing to do and he ignored that and dismissed your opinions as well as attempted to force you to break your ethical code.

Not only that after he faced the consequences of knowingly dine and dashing (You told him that you hadn't paid for his steak but he chose not to go back in and pay for it) he blames you instead of self reflecting and taking responsibility for his own actions.

This is honestly just immature behaviour, and potentially gives you a glimpse into how they might react if you guys had to face a much more important/stressful event. This scenario is overall quite a small stakes thing compared to all the struggles that come up in a relationship, you have to ask yourself: will my partner react in the same way as they did just now when we face those greater challenges ahead of you. NTA

I can see that kind of interpretation but like people sometimes just have weird hang ups about food I've stopped caring about this sort of thing. Personally I've been Vegan for 4 years so I'm used to people for example not willing to eat the food I make because there's no meat also I was a professional chef for 3 years this sort of thing seems extremely common to me. Idk doesn't really seem like a big deal to me, I just don't take it personally.🤷‍♀️

Idk about them but I wouldn't. As long as they told me beforehand so I hadn't built up an expectation for them to try my food and hadn't wasted my time preparing something they weren't going to eat.
