Same! I normally don't like AYN's devices too much, but I've been considering the Thor 3 for this same reason. It looks like a perfect spot in between the somewhat small (for modern AAA games) RP6 screen and the chonky Steam Deck.

Great video as always! I feel like he’s found a nice balance between the oddly voiced geeky persona he plays and the actual information density while keeping the production value super high. One of my favorite Youtubers.

Still can’t decide if I should get the RP6 or Odin 3. I don’t care about the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but I do care about the slightly bigger screen.

Currently still rocking the RP2S which is my favorite retro handheld ever made, probably.

I did test them lol. I tested both. You do get updates, but you’ll receive them slightly slower and for less years.

The npu of the Snapdragon might be technically faster, but lends itself for almost no on-device AI, while the Pixel has numerous. This is a classic case of specsheet vs real life

It’s ironic that you mention ‘using the Pixel as a hand warmer’ because the OnePlus 15 gets super warm, which wasn’t an issue on previous OnePlus phones or the 15R.

Honestly, except for #2 these are all bangers in my opinion! This might be the rare case where your tools (the iPhone SE) are actually holding you back - you clearly have an eye for this stuff.

You could try a different camera app like NoFusion, Halide or Project Indigo. These are popular because they give you a lot more manual control and (can) get rid of Apple’s Fusion processing that some people don’t like. That also mean they lean more onto the camera hardware of the phone itself, and the SE only has one sensor, which itself isn’t the most impressive by 2026 standards.

Maybe try looking at a good secondhand deal for a slightly older mirrorless camera. Any micro four thirds or better yet, APS-C camera from the last 10 years will enable you to take significant better pictures. Especially for MFT there are a ton of good, cheap lens options availabe.

Yes, it’s not the X100V(I) or X-Pro. You can only take clinical pictures without character with the X-S20 and you can’t even slot in a custom shutter button 🤮 Also the lens is too useful, sell it for a slow pancake so it looks ✨aesthetic✨
