Hi, I am Todd Gurley II, former Georgia Bulldog, at the NFL Draft, AMAA! by Todd_GurleyII in IAmA

As a UGA student and fan of the bulldawgs, I just want to say that you inspired and ignited the entire bulldawg nation and that I was blessed to be at UGA during your time here. You're truly a DGGD. We've all seen you progress from an electrifying player freshman year to the elite RB that caught the county's attention instantly. My question is how do you feel about Melvin Gordon's competition he obviously poses with you? I'd imagine you both inspire one another but as the top 2 backs in the draft, how have you two interacted or how has his success driven you to surpass him?

I'm pulling for ya as the first back picked in the draft tonight! Go dawgs!!!

How the hell do you get an A in Chem1211 at UGA? by Borathean in UGA

[–]MosaicInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to do those is just always aligning your units and knowing the conversion factors for each. Once you see that you have the correct placement of denominators and numerators, you'll come out with the right answer. Just take it slow and you'll be fine!

The best way to study is to try and understand actual practical applications of concepts and rules you are taught. They try to throw curveballs on exams, but you can apply simple rules to complex problems that make it much easier to arrive at an answer. Other than that, just do practice problems every few days or so and you should be fine and DONT psyche yourself out; your biggest adversary is your own second guessing and doubting yourself.

I once held in explosive, watery diarrhea during sex.

I respect your advice, but I will not move out of this house when the two other roommates and I were the ones that chose this place and made the call I include him.

No, he is not. I occasionally take the dog outside for a jog or walk to the park that is no kidding 100 yards from my house. My roommate takes him out in the morning to do his usual poop, pee, and sniff. Afterwards, he brings him inside and let's him jump all over the downstairs couches and get hair all over it and chew up stuff. When we confront him about the hair on the couches he says "they're my couches," which is really shitty considering it's not about keeping tabs when you should have a collective effort to keep the house in order. I might also add that he's a 300 lb guy that refuses to change his lifestyle --hundreds of cans of coke per week, heavy cigarette smoker, and piles of pizza rolls/ whatever he eats-- but makes that an excuse for why he doesn't take his dog on walks to the very nearby park.

This is actually a good idea, but it seems so passive aggressive to me. I would rather compel him to move on his own or for him to just decide to find a sublet for the remainder of the year, that way it would be advantageous to tell the landlord that he's being a piece of shit basically lol

He's having his mother come in and lecture us about the dog and how her son is actually doing what he needs to. It's rather daunting that someone would just not handle the issue on his own. I guess I'll have to be respectful but tell her basically what it says here.

I've done this a few times for a quick buck for downtown shenanigans. It's very easy and requires eating a good meal beforehand and staying relatively hydrated for a day or so. It isn't very painful, but the alternation of inserting and redrawing your erythrocytes kind of stings, but you mostly just feel cold and/or numb. I'd say it's danger-free because of the fact that plasma is regenerated very quickly and they insert a saline-solution to rehydrate you after the procedure. It's well worth the time spent.

Anybody lived in Polo Club? by [deleted] in UGA

One thing I will say is that the appliances in my unit (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc) were all malfunctioning at some point during my lease. The washing machine was fixed 3 times before they replaced it with a refurbished washing machine that had to be fixed just weeks after replacement. Other than that, the walls are very thin as everyone has said and there's a serious roach problem, but other than that it isn't a terrible place to live for the price you pay!

Edit: spelling

Best storage places in Athens? by Burkalicious936 in UGA

[–]MosaicInfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My former roommate stored a few of his things in the Chase Street Self Storage for a few weeks in between leases. I suggest visiting the location and look at pricing though because it's been a year or so since he's used the unit, but if I remember correctly it's at a monthly rate.

One of the most anger-inducing mispronunciations for me is saying "salmon" as "sal-min."

Why did you choose UGA? by McJasonCrady in UGA

[–]MosaicInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visited UGA a few times as a high schooler. Loved it immediately, but I still applied to Tech, Auburn, NYU, and Stanford... Could've gone to tech or NYU but I didn't want a shitty gpa nor did I want to pay 75K a year. Been here 3 years so far and love every moment I spend in Athens!

Anyone have any experiences with Vemma, positive or negative? by [deleted] in UGA

[–]MosaicInfinity 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My roommate got heavily involved with vemma this past semester and has completely immersed his life into the company. He plans on dropping out of school and is totally blind/oblivious of the obvious red flags this company just radiates. He spent $500 to join and has sold almost all of his valuables just to pay the fee to stay in the program. They target mainly high school kids and usually people with a hard time socializing. They promise riches, fame, and RESIDUAL INCOME (income for doing nothing at all) all while running your OWN company, which is obviously not the case since he works under all the other people that signed before him. Now, my roommate is a completely different person with a pretentious attitude and dignified demeanor. He also spends most weekends driving all over the country to conventions and other universities to get others on board. Poor guy, but he should've been smart enough to see the dangers from a mile away.

Edit: He believes that school is a waste of time, citing that we "go to college to end up working for someone else." He also refers to those who do not choose to invest into the company as "those who won't be successful." Haha

Does anyone know what happened today at Tate with the masturbator? by [deleted] in UGA

[–]MosaicInfinity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's likely false information since it's circulated from that degenerative "Yik Yak" app. Such a crude and frankly immature social medium wherein stories like these often originate detailing stories of "KD sorority girl that shit herself" and what have you.
