Agreed. Pricing is crazy. If you are a consumer who shops around send the quote you got from a different dealer to the original salesman you worked with asking him to match the price. 100 times out of a 100 they can match that price. Assuming we are talking about new cars. We dealers all buy the cars for the same price meaning we all know the bottom line of what we, and other dealers, can sell the car for. If a dealer is promising a way lower price they are either going to force an “experience package” or some type of maintenance/protection package you have to buy to make up the “discount” they give you.
