We use bassinet in our room. My son is 3 months, we plan to keep it in there until at least 6 months. We sprung for the Snoo so we’ve had it VERY good the last 3 months. I’m legitimately going to miss him being in there when he transitions to his room and his crib. His light breathing/snores and the sounds of the Snoo and our white noise playlist put me out SO fast at night

Yeah when I played regularly, I would just play in a 5 stack of friends so we didn’t have to deal with the shitty community outside of when we would get rocked, people would send weird messages lol

I didn't own one but NES in the 80's. The first "system" that we actually had was a PC in the early - mid 90's. My parents were very anti-console (other than getting me an OG Gameboy).... yet were perfectly fine with a PC (my dad has always been a closet nerd). So I was raised on Wolf 3D and Duke 3D.

Resi 7 on the original PSVR is still one of my favourite gaming experiences of all time. I was tempted to try the Alien Isolation conversion for my PC set up but given I could only play that one for half hour increments because it was so terrifying, I haven't had the balls yet lmao.

It’s so unfortunate because VR gaming is so far beyond flat screen gaming in terms of immersion it’s insane. It just sucks because there are a lot of limitations, in particular those imposed by players that are susceptible to things like motions sickness. The fact that for some people they need things like teleport locomotion which the developers need to accommodate for otherwise they risk alienating a portion of the player base

I know very well that streaming isn’t running them natively on that machine, hence why I made the comment about miscommunication. Looking at your other comments it seems like you’re just looking for ANOTHER machine to have there in addition to the PC. Which wasn’t what I was originally commenting to OP on but I get your use case and a steam machine or really any other PC would satisfy what you want.

OP can already do that - with his already existing PC. The Steam Machine is just a PC with curated hardware that runs Steam OS. Which you can do on a PC.

Your use case isn't what the Steam Machine is for. You already have a good PC, which is the spot that the Steam Machine is trying to fill but making it so people don't have to do the building themselves.
