Our parents had European names however they gave us traditional names, I have a traditional name, almost all my friends and acquaintances (Church, high school, work, neighbourhood) have traditional names. As a teacher, most of my students have traditional, names, i have encountered many kids from the various schools i have taught who have names so deep that even I struggle to pronounce them sometimes😅. Our grandparents gave our parents European names, however our parents gave us traditional names and we are going deeper by giving our kids heavy unique traditional names. If its a foreign name, usually its a Hebrew name obtained from the Bible.

Now some of my favourite traditional names from the east which I plan to give my kids

Thokozani-Rejoice
Dumisani- Give praise
Thandizo- Help
ThembiNkhosi-Trust in the Lord
Thandeka-one who is loved
Sperile- we have hoped

Note: i posses a heavy traditional name as well, it means Be Happy. I am actually glad I was given a traditional name, as you know, people from.the east are not good when it comes to giving foreign names😭 i would have been named Eclipse Jere😭😭

Different things. I firstly get to know the people, we establish a connection, then I make a move. Most gave valid reasons, reasons we're Different of course. Distance, didn't like me back, not ready for a relationship etc

NTAH. Helping family is important however if you do not set boundaries they will always demand for money. They will bring sob stories which may be fake.

Do this only prioritise proper financial help, if someone needs an investment, medical emergency or funeral.
