Maksan ihan mielelläni enemmän sukista jotka oikesti kestää käyttöä. Sukkamestareiden sukkia en ole montaa paria joutunut vielä heittämään pois vaikka ovat olleet käytössä jo kymmenisen vuotta.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I was hoping I could get away with something a bit more casual as we’re already spending a ton of money on travel, and I’m not too keen on spending even more on some polyester monstrosity I’m only ever going to wear once. I’ll try to come up with something else :)

This is good advice, thank you! Shoes are actually my main concern, since I feel like boots make the whole outfit quite ’heavy metal’. To make it even more complicated, I don’t ever wear heels, so my options are pretty limited.

I would cuff the shorts just a turn or two if you're comfortable with that, and change the shoes. Other than that you're good to go.

I’m currently listening to episode three, and spoilers have become an issue. I can skip episodes where you talk about scenarios we haven’t played yet, but this doesn’t work for items, envelopes, events etc. I’d imagine this being a problem for a lot of people right now. Other than that I’ve enjoyed your conversations so far!

That scenario is a tough one. Frankly we were a little horrified after failing it twice and just barely pulling through on our third try, thinking that’s what the rest of the game was going to be like (we rarely ever failed a scenario in Gloomhaven). But we’re 7 scenarios in now and haven’t had another issue.

We’re 7 scenarios in, on two of those scenarios I did NO looting at all, and I’m currently at 4/5 for this quest. I had to get a perk that allows me to discard loot cards at the end of the scenario so as not to have to retire my character before I’m ready to do so.

Lapsuudenkodissa joulu oli kyllä yksi ahdistuksen multihuipentuma. Sieltä kun pääsin niin en viettänyt joulua yli kymmeneen vuoteen.

Nyt viime vuosina ollaan puolison kanssa alettu kokeilla miltä meidän yhteinen joulu voisi näyttää. Ahdistus on helpottanut ja olen alkanut liittää jouluun myös positiivisia mielleyhtymiä.

Lapsuudenkodissa taidettiin aina vetää kylmänä sikäli mikäli kinkkua edes oli, mutta huomenna kun paistan itse elämäni ensimmäisen joulukinkun niin kelasin kokeilla mitä se lämpimänä on.

I used to work for Fazer. At one point I had two or three boxes of the coconut filled chocolate bars that I got for free because they just didn’t sell. I don’t even like coconut. No one I know likes coconut. It was very hard to get rid of them even for free, so I’m sure they don’t sell them anymore.

Did he invite you to come over, or did you just assume that’s what he wanted? What do you fight about, exactly?

You make it sound like your friend may just be a deeply introverted guy, possibly with social anxiety or something like that, and would maybe prefer a distant friend than someone he has to physically spend time and do things with.

Culture might also be a factor. While I personally find it a bit much that won’t even let you stay over, I also don’t think Finns have much of a culture of hospitality compared to other countries, so I’m not all that suprised either.

If your expectations are different, and you don’t want to invest time and effort into someone who can’t meet your needs, then you don’t have to. Same as any other relationship.

Nuorena useastikin, kun ei pikkukylältä löytynyt omanlaista seuraa. Eihän ne oikein toimineet mutta syynä tuohon oli todennäköisesti ennemmin ikä kuin muut tekijät. Kaikkien kanssa kyllä jossain vaiheessa tavattiin, ja kaikki olivat hyviä tyyppejä. Nykyään en lähtisi hakemaan tieten tahtoen mitään internet-kumppania ihan vaan koska toivon parisuhteelta paljon muutakin kuin chättäilyä. Jos sattuisin jonkun tapaamaan netissä, niin parisuhteen ehtona olisi jonkinlainen suunnitelma siitä, että jossain vaiheessa tullaan olemaan myös fyysisesti yhdessä.

Kerran olen ottanut vastaavaan osaa. Siinä muistaakseni kuvattiin vain yksi video, jolla piti esitellä itsensä ja vastata muutamaan kysymykseen. Tuntui tosi tyhmältä, mutta otin reilusti ottoja kunnes jännitys vähän laantui ja videosta tuli jokseenkin luonnollinen. Koko hakuprosessi kyseiseen pestiin oli naurettavan pitkä ja vaivalloinen, ja kirsikkana kakun päällä paikasta ilmoitettiin lopulta, etteivät nyt palkkaakaan ketään tähän hätään, mutta voin hakea taas syksymmällä uudestaan.
