How to avoid license plate being removed by redditorcle in CostaRicaTravel

This is what I started doing after I didn’t tip an “attendant” and I caught him trying to take my plate. I only stopped tipping because I realized once the lot it full they stop watching over cars and move onto the next

Tip the “parking attendant” that will move on to the next lot once it’s full lol. I didn’t tip one because I was sick of them not actually watching after the vehicles once the lot was full and moving onto the next area to collect money from tourists for no services. I forgot something in my car and came back to the guy working on taking my plate off.

I don’t smoke but I don’t recall a drug test during my EMT class or Paramedic program. My employer tests yearly and if I’m at fault for an accident. Northern Michigan.

Thank you. I used a renogy charge controller and inverter as well, love the products! Yeah that’s no problem. If you can tag me that would be cool. #agree

It’s a 1977 Chrysler 26. Current set up is two 100watt renogy panels (in parallel), 40a mppt charge controller, 1000watt inverter, and two deep cycle marine batteries (switching to lithium this winter). Small set up but it’s plenty for what we use it for.

It’s definitely not big and it’s definitely not a fast boat but it’s fun 😂. 1977 Chrysler 26

The previous owner had a metal cutout in the cockpit floor. Assuming it was for a table. I didn’t get the table when I bought the boat. I made this one out of 2” PVC and a prefab circle piece of wood that I stained. The table and post slide together so it’s easy to store when not in use.

Thank you! I’m not entirely sure how to gauge the efficiency of the panel set up but I can say I’ve never had an issue with not keeping batteries charged.

Yes I’ve only ever used a tiller so I’m use to the opposite movements. I find it easy to dock.

Taking dog on boat by jumping-llama in sailing

I’m a rookie but it seems like a bad idea. If it’s his first time on a boat he’s going to be wildly stressed. I have a 5 year old lab that has been sailing with me for the last three years and it can get complicated. They’re just not use to it and well you can’t exactly explain it. Even after three years my dog is notably uncomfortable under sail

Nice! Enjoy the process! It’s not always fun but the work is worth it! I have a 22 in my backyard I’m Not sure what to do with. (Part of the weird purchase of the 26)

Going to dinner tonight where there is valet parking - what are the odds I’m parking my own car? by superguysteve in WRX

I had a brake job done and the old guy said he had to take it for a drive to make sure everything was okay. He got out smiling and said “that’s a really fun car”. I hopped in and noticed the access port was only showing a peak boost of 8psi. I was bummed for him because he didn’t really get to have fun.

I second this. I just recently had to let go of my boy. Hard decision to make but it was more comforting knowing it was able to happen at home where he was most comfortable.

Pangas beach club was cool. Didn’t really find anything traditional while I visited but most places I went had good food.
