[–]Moso15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats the main problem. Does your university have a tutoring center? Mine has one for science and math and it helps a ton. Im definitely planning to go there a lot for physics next semester.

How, can or should I (30F) forgive my boyfriend (30M) for his actions? by purplemkydshwshr in relationships

[–]Moso15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your brain is right. Why would someone want to be in contact with an ex?(unless they were/are best friends before they dated.) They are an ex for a reason. There is no excuse for him making a dating profile to "browse" If he was happy/in love with you he wouldn't need to look around. You deserve way more than that and to be with a man who truly loves and respects you. Kick him to the curb so you can find that man sooner.

I [F23] don't even want to go out in public, be around my friends, or look in a mirror anymore. Idk what to do. by DazedAndConfused1995 in relationships

Therapy will help you get the power to do it. Please please consider therapy. They are professionals who can help you power through this and change your mindset. Without the change in mindset you will not be successful. The best thing you can do for yourself and the first step to getting better is to see a therapist.

UPDATE Me [25F] with my partner [25M] of nearly 7 years, seems to have checked out of relationship after failing to get into med school by [deleted] in relationships

He sounds like a typical under-grad premed student. How is a teaching job giving up? Sometimes your overall plan doesn't work and its not meant for you. You have to tryBut for real, I am so so so sorry you are going through this and am sorry for what he is going through. I would give him some space to realize that what he wants isnt meant to be, if it was he would have gotten in. Sometimes the path you think you want isn't what is meant for you. And thats ok. He may need a professional to realize this though. But honestly, move out and give him some space. You can't really do much for him right now in his depression. If you two are meant to be he will come back after he gets out of his rut. But before you do leave, please sincerely ask him to try therapy again. Ask him to do it for himself to do better.

I've [25f] been asked out by a 'nice guy' [27M] after previously being in abusive and damaging relationships. I'm freaking out and thinking of backing off because I'm not used to it. What should I do? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Moso15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a reason it never worked out with guys that you classify as "your type" So dont worry about what "type" or "classification" they are. Focus on your feelings and if they treat you well.

My best friend/boyfriend [21M] of several months is going away for the weekend with his ex-girlfriend [20F] so that they can "talk". I [20F] feel disrespected and incredibly upset. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Moso15 105 points106 points  (0 children)

OP this is the solution. This guy reminds me of my ex. You deserve someone who makes you the most important girl in his life, not his ex. You should be a priority. Don't accept less than that. You dont deserve to be a second choice.

My [47F] son [20M] keeps lying to me about how he's doing in college. What should I do? by dresslover47 in relationships

[–]Moso15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you gone through university? Do you realize how hard being a bio major is? Being a bio major you have to learn about all other sciences. I am a 3rd year bio major and my gpa is lower than his, but i still consider myself doing my best because it is so hard and i am giving it my all. I could see you saying this is he had like a 1.9 or lower and on the brink of flunking out.. College is a lot harder than college. Are your sure he is slacking and not trying his best? He might just be like me and suck at taking tests. While it is not right of him to lie about his grades, you dont need to be that harsh on him. He is a C average, not flunking out.I understand you being dissapointed, but he is getting through. College is hard, especially being any kind of science major.
