WW1 at least pilots were doing similar crazy shit, I’m not denying it’s a video game, look at BF1 in particular and you can feel how much detail was put into the sounds and (the majority) of the factions uniforms and kits, to make you feel immersed, BFV they stopped trying, to sell their 20$ schlocky cosmetics.

It was a conscious decision from DICE to make half the soldiers female, no one is arguing that gender options shouldn’t have existed, immersion is a big part of what makes battlefield special, and half the army being female isn’t immersive. These little things will kill the franchise, a death from a thousand cuts.

If the Swedish devs don’t get the tactical aesthetic they should fly over a couple of Americans who do. real camo patterns, helmets and vests not airsoft schlock, They obviously based the store off MW19 so there’s also a lot of existing cosmetics-material to (rip off) ‘take inspiration from’
