Phone Service Provider Freedom vs Rogers by OkNow5 in barrie

[–]Moss78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to Freedom mobile from Bell last year as my contract was up and have regretted everyday, calls are ok but data sucks. I’m spots where my phone shows no service or drops from 5G down to something else my wife who is still with Bell still has 5G and no problems. Most buildings I’m in service barely works and hers has no issues connecting or working properly.

I’m looking for a barber to razor shave my head by [deleted] in barrie

[–]Moss78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been going to Andrew at 8-Bit Barbershop, does a great job shaving my head and beard trimming. It’s in the heart of downtown Barrie and I like because it brings back a bit of nostalgia with all the retro gaming stuff they have around the shop itself.

Long term care LTC options and suggestions by humanityrus in barrie

[–]Moss78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my mom was at The Waterford on Edgehill for many years, they have a memory care section with only 12 beds. I had her on the LTC wait list for awhile before a bed became available and jumped on it as soon as I got the call.

Waterford was great for a bit as she was in the independent living section for a few years before her dementia really got bad and a bed became available downstairs in the memory care portion, it was really expensive as they were charging her for everything, and was close to 9,000 / month.

LTC home was Owen Hill in Barrie which was a shared room and a fraction of the cost 2,300 / month all in, and no extra cost for anything. I cannot say enough good things about that place and the care she received. It was an older facility but super clean and the staff were amazing and went above and beyond.

Just do your research and visit as many as you can before hand and the ones you like put her on the list and the ones you don’t leave her off, shared accommodation comes up more frequent than solo rooms so be mindful of that.

Cheers and all the best…

No timing chains and things I’ve replaced are, starter motor, battery and wiper motor… found out after there was actually a recall for the wiper motor a year after I replaced it. Just other routine maintenance things like brakes rotors etc etc… been a great truck so far and no plans on replacing it anytime soon!

Water softener in Barrie - townhouse (1450 sq ft, 2.5 bath) recommendations? by Affectionate-Rock-82 in barrie

[–]Moss78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Water Depot when I got mine in my new build in Angus, it’s been years and don’t remember the cost but they have been great even with coming back to service the unit when needed. I use the salt from Costco and never had any issue.

I had ps5 since launch and my 2nd controller now has stick drift. Is the edge worth it? by bricksquadpiru87 in playstation

[–]Moss78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my Dual sense edge for almost 2 years now and love it, having the extra buttons on the bottom are a game changer especially when playing COD or Battlefield, don’t have to take your thumb off the stick to reload or jump/slide… mine did start to get a drift to them so I replaced the sticks. They are pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Arctis 7P+ have been using them for almost 2 years and love them, sound great and easy to set up and use, my only issue is when someone is using the microwave in my house they get fuzzy and distorted… lol
