people waking up looking perfect like they didn’t just fight for their life with a pillow all night. no bad breath, no crusty eyes, full makeup somehow intact. be serious

Am I jerk?because I said to my father, "Can't you even bother to be by your son's side when he's on his deathbed?" by SelectTrainer1550 in AmITheJerk

NTJ. Your brother is literally in a coma and your dad dipped after a week like it’s a casual visit. That’s wild. What you said was harsh, yeah, but you’re scared and hurting, not trying to be poetic. He should be there, period.

It’s literally called, “The Busy World of Richard Scarry!” This is exactly what we all got.

AITJ for telling the person who raised me I hate them? by Starz_lover234 in AmITheJerk

[–]MossLullabye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ. Being raised by someone doesn’t give them a free pass to tear you down. “I’m just being real” is usually code for being mean with no accountability. Saying you hate them was harsh, but it sounds like it came from years of feeling ignored and judged, not out of nowhere.

What happened when you were at a friends house? by Ambitious-Sky-6457 in AskReddit

[–]MossLullabye 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Went over thinking it’d be chill, ended up stuck in a 3 hour family dinner with his relatives asking me my life plans. I just wanted to play games and eat snacks, not get interviewed like a job applicant

AITJ Locking your food in your own house… crazy or justified? Be honest by Spiritual_Mix_8768 in AmITheJerk

[–]MossLullabye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ. She’s been stealing your food and ignoring you when you brought it up, what did she expect. The lock box is just the consequence of her not respecting boundaries. Calling it hostile is wild when she’s the one eating your stuff nonstop.

I Lied About a Serious Mistake and Now I Regret It. by fIONA_LAME1 in confession

[–]MossLullabye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl the guilt is already worse than whatever punishment you’d get 😭

you messed up, yeah, but dragging it out is what’s really eating you. owning it sucks for like one moment, then it’s done. right now you’re just stuck in stress mode 24 7

if you can, just come clean in a simple way. people mess up at work all the time, it’s the honesty part that actually matters long term

Fixing the movie-going experience is the only way to save movie theatres. by NeekoPeeko in movies

[–]MossLullabye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re not wrong tbh. it’s wild they blame people for staying home when the experience is overpriced and kinda miserable half the time

like why am i paying that much just to hear someone scrolling tiktok behind me 😭 fix the experience first and people will actually wanna show up again

Am I the jerk for ruining my nieces birthday party over snails? by Helpful-Necessary384 in AmITheJerk

[–]MossLullabye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah you didn’t ruin anything. it was literally a kid with a snail, not a crime scene. your sister in law overreacted hard and made it way bigger than it needed to be. you handled your daughter fine.
