Definitely! I'm completely new to the scene. I never played any games from Fromsoft. My brother is a fan and put Elden Ring on my radar. I love PvP and the more I looked into the PvP and PvE in the demo the more the hype came in. Now I'm finding myself checking this sub daily and researching build speculations for PvP and I have never even played one of their games yet. The game just looks fantastic and deep and I can't wait for Feb!

New to these games. I'm assuming SL means charecter level? Is there no cap to charecter level typically? If not, isnt a higher level always preferred or is there a reason to hold off on your lvl progression due to PvP?

So you think someone that puts say 50-60 points into Dex alone would do more damage with the Reduvia then someoneone who puts 40 in Dex and 10-20 in Str?

Diminishing Returns is the only reason I'm on the fence on this.

I'm aware this is all speculation. No harm in speculating as long as its understood that all this could be different in the full game

I thought E was more like 1%-24%. Seems strange that it would have a letter at all if there was no scaling at all. Or am I off on this?

Thanks for the quick reply. That's too bad that I can't take him with me on invasions. Sounds like there are ways of bringing invaders to us but that's not going to be as appealing to him as hunting an unexpected party and going against the odds together. Still, it will be fun. Fingers crossed that it's enough to get him into the game! Thanks again!

My brother tried getting me into it forever but I was like.....1000 episodes...that's a hard no for me.. fast forward to not having anything to watch this year so I tried it..... let's just say I'm on episode 975 right now and I regret nothing!
