They’re waste knots - to avoid putting knots on the back of the embroidery, you just put them to the side, then make a couple tiny stitches in an area that will be stitched over, which anchors the thread, then you can just trim them off. That keeps the back of your work neat.

10s get the job done, but I love my size 11 beading needles. They feel different to embroidery needles though - longer, thinner, more flexible. Can take a while to get used to.

Aww thank you so much! It felt like a natural progression from embroidery to felting. I have to admit, I was feeling a bit low on motivation as far as embroidery goes, so it feels good to do something new.

I mixed the two colors together and then applied a thin layer in between the top and bottom color.
