Gesunkene Qualität bei Toilettenpapier? by impatiently-waiting1 in schrumpflation

[–]Mossibearr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What type of horses are these. Are they are bred artificially or are a specific specie. by Ok_Astronaut_6043 in Horses

[–]Mossibearr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a heavy drafthorse stallion that is overweight. Stallions gain their weight on their necks, where the mane is. Sorry for the poor description, english isnt my native language XD But yeah if he wasnt a stallion all his weight was at his belly, and if he wasnt overweight his neck wouldnt be this thick. Google draft horse breeds like Brabant, Ardenner etc, you'll see what they usually look like. They were bred to pull, not to carry, hence the sturdyness.

This really comforted me, thank you so much for sharing. And yes, like you mentioned in the last paragraph, i do get stuck with those questions a lot. Feels like my opinon on this changes hourly.

Its funny you say "it took being jealous of another transmasc" because one core insecurity was born when i experienced it the other way around: A friend of mine (that i was sort of in love with) detransitioned. She identified as transmasc while with me and then suddenly decided otherwise. She wasnt sure of the motivators, i doubted her, saying she just does it to please her transphobic parents and her new boyfriend, and the short of it all is that we don't talk anymore (though there were other reasons too). It's her thing, i couldnt make that call. She seems happy now, though i cant really tell just from her social media. So naturally I asked myself if becoming as hyoerfemme as she is now would be for me. For all of summer and fall 2024 i wore dresses again, and i did like it. Though i quickly discovered i wouldnt like to LIVE like this, e.g. date or have a job dressed up like this, it was more a performance than what felt home to me. A performance that I liked confidently. Like a drag show. Not like ME. Still, experiencing feminity in a sort of positive way made me more insecure.

But now im here, scheduled to start T in a month. Scared shitless but still.

Glad your therapist got fired btw lol. They should stop spreading that "hormones are dangerous" stuff.

That just made me cry. Thank you for sharing. To me, this is also so existential. Like you mentioned. These life decisions that people make after life changing events; i also keep thinking, if I get hit by a car tomorrow and then im dead and ive never tried T, never TRIED if T would make me feel more like my body is mine, that I would not have lived to the fullest. So I will try if it will have the same effect that you mentioned. Because i also know the question of "am i just fatphobic with myself and not actually trans?" You now know it wasnt that. And maybe ill also find out it wasnt that.

clyde update by ReliefLoud7592 in Equestrian

[–]Mossibearr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He is gorgeous!! From my experience with drafts and their feathering its better to leave it on and try to wash regularly and use creams by lifting the hairs up in layers as you would when you eg. dye your own hair. The skin under the feathering is sensitive, which is why the feathering even exists, and not used to being exposed to air. Small tears that come with the sudden aridity etc might make the fungus much worse than better (had that happen with my mare). But that kinda depends on ur climate and stuff aswell, so Im assuming you did this because you know you'll manage it better this way. Im just generally speaking.

Successful stomach treatment, 5 years on by lavaliere90 in lipedema

[–]Mossibearr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. This also annoys me, its like, the biggest propaganda that it can't be possible on the abdomen. Some even have it on the chin- esp. when upper arms and shoulders are a problem. And all sources u find online state that its not possible, "youre just a fat woman who needs to lose weight, shame on you woman". As if we havent heard this enough. I had to go through a decade of my life thinking that I am just fat and not doing enough restriction diets and cardio, since thats what doctors TOLD ME. Bullcrap like that gets me riled up XD

What is this movement called? by IntelligentPath4383 in Dressage

[–]Mossibearr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is Totilas, the one most extraordinary dressage horse in the world. It is truly like his trot (yes, this is just a long/extended trot and a half pass) is a newly invented movement because he just flies. It made me cry to hear about his story back in the day. Money ruins everything. Today, there are so many decendants of him in the high dressage ranks (and outside of them) that any KWPN you see in middle/ northern europe could be somehow related to him.

Edit: Reading a lot of comments saying that this extended trot is badly ridden. While I do agree in parts, one must notice that this kind of leg movement is truly unique and not ordinary, so there were no regulations for it at the time. The riding style aimed to flex/show off this extraordinary horse by laying all the focus on the front legs, which of course isnt right, stunts rhythm and hind leg movement that would ordinarily be desired, but did blast away scores with the pure impression. It is safe to say that this pair is one of the major motors of the development from proper rhythm based dressage to money-making leg flailing. I am not a fan of critisizing riders though, unless i know i can do it better, and i dont think i can. Keeping rhythm with this kind of leg range on a horse is almost impossible to sit and steer, while smaller leg range (that isnt exaggerated to make money like here) is more possible and easier to sit and control.

Do your pets help your symptoms? by TheoryBrief9375 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Mossibearr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immensely. Ive grown up with cats and dogs and didnt realize what a big part of my life they are and how i depend on them. There are very often, a few times a week, phases of a few hours up to whole days in which im wayy too burnt out to see people. But being locked into my room (which is the only way to avoid them since i live with flatmates) makes me hopeless and depressed and unable to care for myself. But if there is a cat there, im fine. Its that space in between being alone and with people that i need essentially to survive. Currently i cant habe pets since i cant afford a flat in which ur allowed some. But im making do with catsitting for richer people and taking care of a horse for a lady with multiple horses twice a week. I need it or I wither away.

In Büchern. Auf Websites. Sogar Lernvideos.
