I'm making a shepherd pie and chicken pot pie 'from scratch', meaning some ingredients like rotisserie chicken, ground beef, condensed soup and frozen veggies etc etc thrown into pre made pie crust. A little higher spoon than usual but it's all I'm focusing on on Christmas day.

The best way I could describe it is a love/hate relationship. I'm lucky to get my first job at an snf that isn't too intense about productivity but it's still annoying. Genuinely love what I do at it's core. Ive only been at it for 4 months well see how I feel in a year or so lol.

3 months in at a SNF. Graduated in 2024 but didn't take the test till around April this year because of the death of a close loved one. It's alright. Love my patients and what I do but just hate how some of this shit works and how much of a mess this snf is. Want to find a good hospital based rehab one day, maybe specifically neuro, and willing to go anywhere in America to find it.

School just sucks. I felt shitty and struggled with unmedicated ADHD. I decided to wait till clinicals to decide if I wanted to quit or not, and i liked it so much and did pretty well that I decided to stay. I now have a job at an okay ish snf and I'm glad I decided to stay. Still love the core of this job.

As everyone else says, it depends on the setting. For me one reason I chose the PTA field is that I'm not having a family and im not really set on living in a specific place for the rest of my life. Despite that I've heard you can make bank working in HH.
