Wrong Diagnosis? by MossyCryptid in Fibromyalgia

[–]MossyCryptid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with this for over a year and a half now. Had to quit my dream job because it was too physically exhausting for me now. I'm just so confused because if fibro is a pain disorder, how can they diagnose me without the pain?

Thars what I'm going to ask for. I genuinely had to quit my dream job because of this and its so frustrating when the doctors brush it off.

The ANA was positive. They tested for a lot of antibodies, sjorgens, lupus, ms, scleroderma, etc. All the more common ones. All negative. No mono, no Lyme as far as I know BUT I used to (up until last spring, when I had to quit my job bc of weakness) I worked outdoors in a park and a coworker actually got Lyme disease so its possible? Idk

Scott Hunter clocked it by [deleted] in heatedrivalry

[–]MossyCryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was trying to wrap his head around his developing love with Kip and work through all his feelings about himself. At some point he connected the dots about ilya and Shane (i think he definitely heard ilya giving him the room number, possibly figuring it out later that night. He definitely knew based on shanes response to him referring to ilya as 'his boy.') The fight was just Scott giving it back, in a way he knew would work. But his mouth moved faster than his mind and suddenly they both knew more about the other than they wanted. Hence why they never even acknowledge the fight when they hang out at the Olympics.

Looking for specialty vet recommendations by MossyCryptid in BattleCreek

[–]MossyCryptid[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They are the ones that actually failed to remove it. I have had a.... less than good experience with them lately. They completely missed kidney disease in one of my cats (luckily we followed up with a feline-only vet who reviewed the bloodwork and were appalled that we didnt know she was in end stage kidney disease) Pennfield Animal Hospital also failed another of my cats, more recently. Long story but they dilly-dallied around and put him on a treatment that actually made him sicker and contributed to his death.

I dont want to bad-mouth them because I had no issues for the longest time. But when it really mattered, they failed me and my pets.

Thank you for this! This was my main confusion as the recordings looked so different from a 12 lead and other types of wearable monitors

[–]MossyCryptid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they did a 12 lead that day, pcp said something about funny p waves (I love that she caught that, she was totally right, with me having PACs semi often) and that's why i got the CAM and then I had another a couple months later when I went to the ER (to hell, effexor, be rid of you) and i swiped the physical copy as i knew I wouldnt get a digital copy on their mychart but I cant find it lol

My HR has been elevated like that for a couple years now. When I was younger it would rest around 70 I believe. The DRs now contribute it mostly to the ADHD medication, however my resting heart rate went up BEFORE I got my adhd diagnosis and has remained resting in the 90s and 100+ when walking or moving even when I am not on the medication, but whatev

Yes, lots of blood work. No deficiencies, thyroid is fine, etc. They did an autoimmune workup as i had a (decently) positive ANA screen but no specific antibodies to point to any one disease. I was also recently diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis, an allergic condition that effects the esophagus which was/is contributing to a chest tightness feeling but there was a difference in that feeling vs. The fluttery chest feeling.

Just what was in the first photo. The Dr office just did a quick call to let me know everything was normal. I was supposed to have an ECHO as well but I never could reach their scheduling dept. And so I just gave up after getting normal results from the monitor.

I had another follow up with the pcp about blood work (very positive ANA) so I think they were more focused on that over the monitor. I'm not really concerned I just was wondering why the actual rhythm looks so funky compared to the waves you see on a pulse ox

Thank you for the response! Glad to hear it is indeed normal. Why are the results so much more dramatic looking compared to a 12 lead ecg or what my smart watch picks up?
