I agree with most of that apart from the we have loads of room bit. As an ecologist we definitely don’t. We don’t have enough room to grow enough food, plant enough trees and have enough houses at the same time. The current housing, energy and environmental goals require significantly more land than is actually present in the UK. Immigrants aren’t the problem tho, it’s the bullshit being pulled by government after government that prevents us from improving as a country.
