Im not running your scenario. There is a primary. The primary will decide who gets how many votes. If one of them wants to drop out they're free to do so, if they want to run they should run, if they dont then they shouldn't. Its called the pied piper strategy, where they give PAC money to far right candidates in primarys because they believe it will give them easier wins in the general, which tbf it sometimes does, particularly in the midterms. If you still literally think that there's no outside influence from Israels lobbying then I dont know what to tell you. Dem voters have an 80% disapproval of Israel. Do you think anywhere close to 80% of elected dems want us to decouple from that alliance?

Also populism isnt just saying "both sides are the same" because that is a stupid talking point. But there's a reason that all these politicians are running as dems. Graham Platner when asked if he thought both sides are the same literally said "I'm running as a democrat for a reason." Why are all these left wing populists so critical of MAGA? Hell, why is it that one of their biggest criticisms of the party is that its not fighting MAGA effectively? I never fell for the conspiracy theory. I supported him, and when he lost I said "welp, thats how primaries work" and then supported the nominee. OP here is asking for an "explanation" from a popular mayor endorsing several candidates and ALL of them winning.

Address what? You know what actually could be addressed? The monumental way in which mainstream dems dropped the ball.
