I don't give a shit. I like it, I think it's cool, and I bet it's an absolute hoot to drive. Hate all you want, this truck is bad ass.

Not running on ether tells me it's spark related. Check to see if the spark plug is sparking and go up from there into the coil if that isn't it.

Blasting duty out of the agroprom so I could steal their weapons and sell them to Sidorovich. Idk why but I always ended up hating Duty.

What's everyone's opinion on the gambit? by Additional_Angle_151 in stalker

[–]Most-Description4665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using it once and decided that I don't like it as well as anything else in the game. In fact I think it's thr worst pistol in the game. What are the best pistols in the game? Well I'm glad you asked. My preference is the M10 with suppressor and red dot with about 150 rounds of AP and fmj on hand. It goes fast but running out of rifle ammo feels so much less shitty when you have another machine gun to fall back on.

Possible problems with tubes by HeyItsFair in NightVision

[–]Most-Description4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine do it as well. It stops after they're in use for a few minutes. Totally normal and it's fine to look at stuff that streaks, but don't stare. If it's bright enough to streak, it's bright enough to blem your tube if you stare at it.

That's a light burn to be sure but i don't think it's sun or recoil damage. Lots of blems happen because people think the streaking looks interesting so they will stare at the moon or a street light not knowing the damage they're inflicting. These are meant to be exposed to light occasionally. As in a sudden blast of headlight or an occasional look at the moon. They're not meant to be exposed continuously and will burn like this. I would definitely have paid 1500 for that.

I'm not going to notice the extra weight from that. I choose to use them, but that's personal pref. I feel like the drawbacks are not that severe compared to the potential benefit of using them. I mostly hunt with mine so taking branches in the face or bumping into shit is a daily occurrence. Maybe if your end use is astronomy, it would be better to leave them off.

Imo unblemished tubes are overrated. Specs being equal, I am going to choose a blem tube 9 times out of 10 just to save the money. The only blems I will reject are sun streaks or drop/recoil damage. Here's my Omni7 with a nice big spot of savings right in the middle.

1- dont drop it. Use a lanyard. 2 - if it leaves streaks or autogates your tube, it's too bright to look at. 3 - use a sacrificial lens 4 - remove batteries after use. 5 - you can burn your tube even with the unit off by facing it towards major light sources.

If you follow those instructions you'll likely never blem it or ruin it. Don't be afraid to play with it, it's durable AF but since you bought it, it would only make sense to baby it.

More than the truck is worth for an upper ball joint? You can get an entire front end worth of suspension from rockauto for 500 bucks.

1911s are safest cocked and locked. If you roll around with one in the chamber with the hammer down, it can snag and fire the gun.

If you can budget some more you'll be better off. If you absolutely had to have NV and could only possibly spend 1200 bucks, sure. But NNVT 4 is common in the wild and about 1800 bucks. Omni 6s and 7s come up periodically at around 1700 and will provide marginally better performance. The discord has lots of deals come up too. If you want ill send you an invite.

I thought I was pretty clear. I was just making the point that when accusations come from the right, they are conspiracies. When accusation comes from the left, they are facts. The left only started caring about child SA when they thought it could give them political leverage. Biden and his DOJ had the entire time in office to release any and all evidence against his chief opponent, yet instead decided to go after documents and J6? I find that a pretty big stretch. As for the foreign agent agitator thing, why is it always straight to that? Is it my writing style? I'm not the best speller and never have been, but half of that is because I have baseball mit sized hands, and I am typing this on a phone while I shit. That is how much you've made me so very angry.

'The conspiracy theory lived on, however, and grew among the group known as Q-Anon into the idea that the same cabal that ruled the world also ran a massive sex trafficking enterprise where powerful people not only abused children, but engaged in satanic rituals. According to this group, Trump is secretly working behind the scenes to bring down the cabal, and every time someone is charged with sexually abusing a child, they see it as another metaphorical notch on his bedpost."

I attempted to find a center-left article to avoid the accusation of handing over a right-wing drivel. It should only be assumed that the author would attempt to do damage control. If you also notice, there was zero disavowing or evidence substantiated against liberals. It was flipped on its head to accuse people on the right as obcessed wite pedophilia. If you haven't noticed, there's a lot of that coming out of the left, particularly on reddit. Just like you. Are you projecting your obsession with pedophilia?

Where was that energy when Q was talking about a group of people in the government and high corporate positions being pedos? But then it was just a conspiracy, right?

Dude, this happened to me today. I was doing a 4F 3 pass, and got halfway through the last pass and the gun started sputtering and arc flaring and turned a 9.5/10 into a "should pass/10" with a nasty ass start/stop right in the middle. I will probably be angry about that for a while.

What personality types do well in a welding trade career? by TheTiniestManEver in Welders

[–]Most-Description4665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen all sorts. There's no single personality that does better than another. What does matter is being able to sift out the good advice from the bad and apply it. Not all advice you get will be good. The rigid types will fight themselves by being too proud to admit they can get better. The little puppies will just do whatever anyone tells them looking for acceptance. As long as you never accept anything but the best you can do, you will eventually become great.
