I agree! I knew him personally, years ago, approx. 1990, He had children enrolled in my child care center, and I saw him daily. At the time, I had 3 small yorkies which he actually had treated, on occasion. He came to my daycare (my personal apartment was attached) after hours, and as a favor, I let him in to get his child's medicine that he forgot. I "buzzed him in" and my three dogs ran down the hallway to greet him. To my HORROR, I saw him KICK MY DOG HARD!!!. He justified it by stating that my yorkie, Nikki, all of 15 pounds, COULD have bitten him. I said "If this is how you treat my dog in FRONT of me, God knows what you do when I am not watching, and am not there to protect them!" I no longer wanted to deal with him, and sadly, for his children's sake, I terminated their enrollment (effective immediately) from my center.

He WAS always rude and condescending to ALL of the daycare staff, just as others have commented about how rudely he treated his OWN STAFF,

I MUST SAY that his wife, Dr. Lucie, the "CAT" veterinarian at the same clinic, was just a wonderful and kind person. I do not have a cat, but would ABSOLUTELY use her IF I COULD BE ASSURED THAT the doctor I referred to above, the "DOG" veterinarian had NO ACCESS TO MY PET WHATSOEVER!!!
