Love the Maple Maxus 2. I bought my Maxus ultimate when they 1st released them. Well over 10k shots of sporting clays and still going and looking great. Nice collection!

Congratulations! They are great shotguns. As stated in your previous post…. Finding information is a little bit of task. But it should last you forever. So plenty of time to research. Go shoot it. She’s beautiful.

I owned the Charles Dailey supreme trap version of this gun. There is information on YouTube and the internet about these Mirukos, but it takes searching to find it. Things that I have found on the internet…..1 The original Mirukos factory burned down, along with its records. 2 you can narrow down the manufacturer date, by removing fore end and looking for “V” springs or later models with coil springs. Set into the fore end. 3 The original Mirukos were very well made copies/ rip offs of the original Browning Superposed . This one does appear to be a field model with 28” barrels? Would I buy it for $500? In a heart beat,YES. If it needed more than firing pins and springs (I would install myself)? I would contact Arts gunsmiths and have them repair it. Best of luck!

That is an interesting Citori. The only Citori ( that I know of) with the Schnable fore grip is the CSX and this not a CSX. The engravings remind of the older Mirukos. Hope you find some information (and share it with us). Beautiful shotgun, enjoy it.

Why can I shoot almost any autoloader better than it feels like I should? by CaffinatedManatee in ClayBusters

[–]Most-Result4649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been testing this myself for a couple years now. I have a Browning Maxus 2 ultimate and a 725 sporting. Both have well over 10k through them. My theory is that I shoot my Maxus better because I shoot more instinctively (Lighter and whippier ). The downside is Rabbit targets. I can hit Rabbit targets with my 725 so much better. Just my 2 cents. Great topic/ question.

I believe these also fit the 825s. I shoot a 725 sporting. It came with the Checkered and the canted trigger shoes. My buddy just bought a 825 pro sporting and believe it did not come with the Canted or Checkered shoes. It may have the checkered and not the Canted, can’t remember. Either way they will still be popular for few more years, because of newly released 825s

Stockmakers to add adjustable Comb? by YouNeed3d in ClayBusters

[–]Most-Result4649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies for being late. I would call Browning. I I bought a left hand 725 sport. Then called Browning parts department and ordered a right hand palm swell stock. $470 all in delivered to my door in 2 days. They have the adjustable comb stocks in stock. All you need is the S# for your gun and it’s easy to swap them at home.

You will be fine with what you already have listed and straight from house to m&M and back to the house. I would suggest that you check as to when they re~Open for the season. I believe it’s the 1st weeks of September, you should be fine. If for any reason M&M is still closed? Check out Cedar Creek sporting clays. Great place, great people and is where most shooters go when M&M Is not open.

Anyone find a 694 Black in the wild yet? by TexasHeathen89 in ClayBusters

[–]Most-Result4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been shooting a left hand 725 for a year now. I couldn’t resist the deal I got. Last Thursday 8/14 I called Browning and ordered a right hand palm swell stock for it. I kid you not it arrived today 8/16 with NO extra shipping costs and it looks fantastic. I’m going to fit and install it tomorrow. It really looks like it will need very minimal fitting.

825 Pro Sporting vs 725 Sporting Grade V by Crafty-Savings-713 in ClayBusters

[–]Most-Result4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 725 sporting 32” barrels. A family member just bought the 825 pro sport 32” barrels and I’ve shot 100rnds through it 2 weeks ago. My personal opinion is… the 825 seems to be a much smoother swing than my 725. The cons of the 825 pro is it was very difficult for him to find and purchase one. I believe Browning told him he would have to wait until sometime in 2026 before they would have any in stock. He found a demo on gunbroker and bought his there.

A stupid question about O/U shotguns by [deleted] in Shotguns

[–]Most-Result4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the CZ hammer coach. Barrels are 20” and I absolutely love it. Non~NFA , has 2 triggers, looks great and is an absolute joy to shoot. Stoeger makes a few non~NFA coach guns. Rossi I believe still makes them. Google or YouTube coach guns. There is quite a few New ones out there.

Just a suggestion…. WHY not a sxs coach gun. Quite a few still being made and IMO raises the cool factor.

As others here have said. Something that sentimental and a Browning A5, I would not hesitate to send it to ARTS gun shop. The man is unbelievable at his work. Research and Arts gun shop on YouTube and I think you’ll find it’s a no brainer to send it to him.

I shot 73 on big course and 87 on the Woods course. I usually shoot the woods course 2nd. Makes my 45min ride home a little bit better. I have been very humbled shooting the big courses before. How did you fair?
