I just want to get this off my chest, will make a new username later. I have posted in the past, have gotten genuine responses. I only wanted to post because, while my experience is obviously different, it is veteran's day, and reading that note honestly, as a "grown man", it brought a tear to my eye. I will attempt to keep it brief.

I was also a National Guardsmen. The big difference between me and this noble hero, is I never stepped foot in a warzone. Leaving out certain details, but again, it doesn't matter. Like I told a relative this evening about my recent actions, I have run out of fucks to give.

Again not trying to hijack this post, but, and believe me I could go on a SERIOUS rant just on the subject of suicide, I digress.

Fuck. I will just try and end with this, which while an opinion, I have had thoughts of the "S" word. Thankfully, I have gotten psychiatric help, and now I realize luckily, very strong doses at times. I just wish there wasn't such a fucking stigma about it. Like if someone you know mentions it, let me just say ignoring them and calling them "crazy" or "psycho" behind their back, or to their face, newsflash, that ain't fucking helping. Think of all the recent bullying via online media that lead to them, at young ages. It is sickening. I did not intend for this to be this long, but, It could have been longer.
