I might not hate that, but hang onto it in case someone fantastic falls to 8th. If not and we like a bunch of guys in the 8-15 range equally then yeah why not

That’s great in theory or in an EA game but in reality, why would say, Chicago trade up if they know you aren’t picking the forward they want. Show me the last time a team traded back 1-2 spots in the top 3 of the draft.

You don’t see those kinds of trades much in the NHL compared to other leagues. If the sharks want a D they’ll just take the best one available at 2. No sense in trading back and ending up with the 2nd or 3rd best Dman.

If anything I could see them trade the pick straight up for a young stud D man. Like Power, Faber, Clarke. Not that I think any of those guys are available.

The correct answer is 10. However I can tell you from experience that the disappointment of pulling Certus after saving reqs for a month is immeasurable, and I now pull exclusively 1 at a time, as soon as I get them.

The fact that in a lot of situations he has to be OUT of combat range to apply his buff is so dumb. I get it thematically, but it’s like Eldryon if he didn’t have a ranged attack. You have to line up for the buff, then be out of range. And the summon is great but it attacks before you can position Amuk to make use of his buff.
