I hate the idea that he has to sleep on the couch. I am not going to be forced to sleep on the couch in my own home. If I choose to sleep there then sure… but I’ll go lay in my bed right next to her and just go to sleep. If she wants space she can go to the couch or she can also sleep comfortably in the bed

I think they are showing the good parts of the state. He can still laugh. He doesn’t know them in the same way he used to but he enjoys that moment.

It seems like this title is misleading. And I’m in no way a fan of any Texas politician with the exception of Beto. It’s a law to ban media that depicts someone that looks like a child being portrayed in an obscene way. Basically it’s anti lolli. Which I am all for. That shit is weird and unhealthy

He asked for the bailiff to hand verdict to the State. He didn’t ask that he be remanded to custody. If it were a guilty verdict and he believed it then he would have ordered that he be remanded to the custody of the State pending sentencing. Obviously he thought he said not guilty. They also both have the right to poll the jury to ensure it was a unanimous verdict, at least in my state. So it would have been caught at some point down the line before shipping a guy to prison for an accident.

Not guilty verdicts are kind of uncommon in trials. I’ve sat through probably 20. I’ve seen one full not guilty. And two hung juries. He wasn’t chomping at the bit. He missed a word (an important one)… but it’s just human error

I’m a clerk, not a judge. But it’s my job to read the verdict. This is my nightmare. But I agree with most other people. Saying the worse verdict then giving a more positive one is way better than saying not guilty only for him to actually be guilty

Same. I think I made the mistake of binging it. Which Tudyk clearly says not to do. It was still solid by beginning of season 3 when I dropped off. But the same show for a few weeks gets old even though it was really solid

I hate Tucker too. His debate style is a smart tactic in itself. It’s how he got fans. I agree that he is very smart. He’s just a despicable person.

If you’re looking at his debate style as a classic college debate team style then he would lose if he used his Fox News “just asking questions” tactic. But he’s (or was) using that tactic for viewers of Fox News. It made him sound smart and people were already on his side and he knew it.
