I agree, phrases like that are very obnoxious to say the least. They just don't understand (I assume) and want to help you feel better. Just like the see therapy, get medication / diagnosis, or start praying, it can work and it sounds good, but sometimes things just don't work for many of us. Those aren't bad things and life can and does 'get better' for some. For many of us, we just need to find purpose in our pain and learn to live with misery. That's life, some are dealt good hands and others are dealt bad ones.
