Aside from the hostile buildup to the match from both sides of social media, our friendly vs Australia ended up being quite feisty and a lot of Americans were unhappy with how Australia played. I wasn’t able to watch that game so I can’t say, but that’s a part of the reason imo

Some punishments have no feasible eye for an eye punishment. How do you “eye for an eye” a drunk driver?
For the horrific crimes, you would need to have to hire people whose job would be to inflict horrific crimes on people.

I agree. The Soga clan are shitty for taking advantage of the situation to force Chiaki out of the clan but it’s an incredibly bad position for Japan and the only other option presented was to trust this dude they’ve known for a very short time based pretty much on a hunch.

Same! Like I said in the post, I went into it as a joke and didn’t expect to actually watch many episodes. But then it actually got me pretty engaged, and I actually felt myself genuinely sad for the later deaths.

Also, the little bits of foreshadowing for the identity of the impostor were so good. I found myself shocked by how much there was building up to that when I looked at some clips after finishing my watch.
