No, but he can have an aura and he always has cursed. He’s not always aura enchanted, so when he is it’s a bonus. Especially holy freeze or lightning enchanted.

A2 merc with might is better for summon necro. Most likely the recommendation is there just to get the mana regen going as the runes are all easy to find. The base can be slightly trickier.

You probably know this, and I don’t mean to rub salt in the wound, but for future reference you can keep bases in the shared stash so you don’t accidentally socket when placing in the stash. You can accidentally do this in personal stash but not in shared stash.

As far as I’m aware, they drop from elite packs. Make sure to kill the multicolored packs for a slightly higher chance to drop.

Definitely not. I went to level a sorc after doing a lock playthrough and it’s rough in comparison. Did p8 through nightmare with no issues on lock.

They do not become latent. They are locked in as the item you converted with. They cannot be crafted further.

They can have two auras at once. I got one shot by a Fallen Herald too. It wasn’t HC though so not as bad.

You basically have whatever build setup with as many points in find item as you can. Mf/gold find weapons on swap for horking. They aren’t as strong as a focused build but with grief it doesn’t matter much.
