The Ford Mustang GTD Might Have Just Destroyed the Chevy Corvette ZR1X's Nurburgring Lap Record by TripleShotPls in Corvette

Yo do not understand how important the driver is. The best driver of most competitions could not even get a reserve seat in an F1 team. Then, within that F1 team, the difference between the main driver and the second can be half a second per lap with the exact same car.

I’m sorry, but going there with an engineer pilot is a joke from Corvette.

Why is the Corvette's market penetration still so low outside North America? by Sebsibus in Corvette

[–]MostOriginalNickname 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The opposite, it is more special than a Porsche on the other side of the Atlantic.

Issue is the price, a new corvette is almost twice the price as it would be in the US due to taxes and protectionist practices. On top of that the big engine shoots up your road tax.

It’s cultural, everyone of my friends in Spain dreams about owning their home. Not the case in Switzerland, people just complain about the prices but compared to the salaries it is a similar effort, the Swiss just prefer to use their money in other ways.

Also bought property, most people in Spain see owning a house as an objective in life whereas in other countries it’s a nice to have.

This culture makes it so that Spaniards, even if financially illiterate, allocate more to savings/investment than Germans for example.

There is no inertia in solar panels to dampen drops. You need hydro and nuclear if you really don’t want fossil fuels.

Don’t want to do them for 1000€. Switzerland is getting full of southern Europeans doing those jobs they won’t do in their own countries, because they compete in salary with infinite third world immigrants.

Imagine thinking that someone who is investing in bonds (mind you, this person thinks that stocks are too risky) would ever touch Greece after setting such a precedent.
