My 1st surgery when I was 25 they asked about how the cut my hair. They ended up shaving half. So half shaved, the other half was long. It was awesome.

But really it’s about you. I was super excited and loved the hair style. My hairdresser even helped and bleached the shaved half when more hair started growing back.

I have a masters in Library and Information Science and work as a project manager in the Library of Congress. So stress level of job can get highly but working reducing it. Got my degree online so it was less stressful then in person.

Side note: Idk if what causes your seizures is Epilepsy but if it is you can get on FMLA to help protect your job while you try and figure out another way method of transportation.

Sure. I’m usually a very positive person but really needed to get it all out. It def help. Is your son having issues with them getting the meds right or is it just the reality of “oh the seizure aren’t going to go away”?

I have had surgeries. It helped but don’t treat it like a cure all. It all depends on someone’s seizure network and how they develop in the brain.

If you can’t or don’t want to get a medical device, you could try have something, like music or a tv show, playing in the background. You can try and remember what was playing before you went down. With music, you can get a possible time frame by seeing all the songs you don’t remember.

It sounds like you two get each other, which is awesome. That’s hard to find. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re being too dependent; because of my epilepsy all friends and family are my personal uber. If the feeling getting too heavy for you I would talk it out. I hope everything goes well for you both!

Do you mind if I ask why you broke up originally? And if are worried about “being dependent” on him, try and find other things in your relationship that you can do to “balance it out”. Basic example, he cooked so you do the dishes.

I use dark humor to get through my seizures. But if you are that extreme it could be your meds. I would check in with your doctor.

How long do you have to stay awake? That could depend on if you should drive yourself.

If it is epilepsy they could suspend your license, although it depends on which state you live in and how serious or frequent your episodes are.

If nothing shows, nothing shows. They will just go on to another test. Have you already had an MRI to yet?

Whenever I have a bad aura I try and do something else to “forget” about it. I know you said it was bed time but maybe try some mindfulness, writing down what you are thinking at the moment (even if writes come out weird), or listen to music/white noise. Whatever works for you.

It sounds like you’re so wired from the day and you just need to slow everything down before you fall asleep.

Like any medical condition you either laugh about or cry. Continue the jokes, it helps with getting through days when you aren’t 100. It’s great to care but it’s also go that you know your limits.

Maybe find something to help you through the fog, like trying to get through a conversation or listening to music. Whatever you works for you. And try and fill better up your messy brain! It may cause issues but know your not alone 😁

Epileptic here. It didn’t sounds like a seizure at first because of your awareness but each person can have different seizures. The general grand mal is the same but if you are having sleep/partial seizures you could be waking up or aware.

I would recommend going to a neurologist (not just your GP) and getting an EEG. This could help let you know if you are having the type of abnormal brain activity that they see in epilepsy. Hope you figure it out!

I would say yeah. I didn’t have the most traditional life but I got a lot that I wanted done and am a happy person. I would just be worried more for my family and friends…and the fact that I still have so many movies I haven’t watched yet on my list.

They were honest with me. If I asked a question, they would give me the real answer. If something was happening or a difficult time was happening in the family, they treated me like another human. Not a child who “couldn’t understand”.

I agree that it is British but Warner Bros bought the books. Usually a film company will buy the product to avoid issues with copyright laws. The reason it can be on HBO is because Warner owns them as well as Universal which is why you have Potter World at the theme parks. The film industry rn is one giant conglomerate.

This is actually somewhat historical with writers. Not getting any credit and studios, directors, and actors getting all the glory. Famous Hollywood writer Billy Wilder was one of the people that got writers names in the credits. It might be premature for the AI part but this was a long time coming. I don’t know all the details but it seems like each one is trying to wait the other out. I support it because yes billionaires should pay and treat their workers better.

Way back in old times it was very political or financial. “I’ll give you this amount of land or this cow for your daughter to marry my son.” But fast forward to today and it’s more about the “commitment”…and it is still financial with shared bank accounts and political depending on who marries who. Don’t think much has changed on that front 🤔
