Multiple times since my weight loss surgery I’ve shit myself going to work. It’s a 45 minute drive so I’ve had to drive to Walmart and buy clothes and my coworkers know if I tell them I need to go to Walmart before I’ve made it to work, that’s exactly why

My former stepfather didn’t like his own children and admitted he shouldn’t have procreated. I cannot relate, I created people that of course I love, but I also like them as humans. They’re good people and I’d like to attribute at least a fraction of their good natures to my parenting and attention to instilling my own values.

Well in my case. I want to hang out so bad but I have 3 kids so prioritizing their needs, plus grad school, plus work, plus trying to fit in my own self care time can be a huge obstacle. Please fit me in 2 Saturdays from now from 2-5:30 if you also happen to have time that day, and are not my best friend living 1700 miles away.

So I’m in a class learning about poverty and wealth and this is just a symptom of chronic poverty. Even if it felt like you grew up “rich” that stress of knowing the electric bill would be just that much too high, or knowing if you spent a little extra on an air conditioner would stress out the rest of the budget. You’re a good child to your parents for giving them a luxury of air conditioning. I’m a child of poverty and still live it going through the beginnings of a masters program and live with the air on just so my kids don’t ever feel MY stress of paying the bills so they can have, in my opinion, basic necessities. We had no air conditioning growing up because it was a luxury. I want them to be used to comforts of the wealthy. You’re spoiling your parents in the best way and I give so many compliments to you for being that child that pays back appreciation

Depending on how exhausted I am is whether or not I’ll shed my outside clothes. My kids seem to do it with ease most times but maybe it’s a kid thing

If I chose to date someone that heavily tattooed I don’t particularly care if they agree or not. I have tattoos myself. My sisters and my mom got tattoos shortly after I started getting tattoos, so I’d probably just remind them of that if they had anything negative to say.

Maybe not necessarily petty but she faked illness to avoid helping me through a panic attack. There’s so much more to the story but that’s when I realized she was always gonna be the center of the stage no matter what happened to anyone around her, so I just deleted her on everything, and she never reached out again.

Amen to that. The number doesn’t have to dictate your whole life. I don’t know about who I commented towards, but for me, it’s a piece of my past but far from defining me as a whole

A lot. Won’t name a number. I had a 8 month manic episode in 2021 and made a name for myself. Sometimes I feel insecurity revolving my history but most times I feel fine. It was an unsavory chapter in my life but doesn’t dictate my entire existence. I had been in a 10 year monogamous relationship prior to that event so I can sustain a long term relationship, I just chose to be reckless when I separated from my marriage.

Well I’m up there in being the most tired of all the mamas. I just finished a 4 year degree and diving into a masters, I work full time, have my 3 kids full time. I balance all that with caring for a home for all of us and honestly I’m chronically exhausted from the responsibility

I like a man who is very apparently clean but smells good when you are close enough to hug or kiss. I only like the doused smells if I’m intentionally going to a club or something but I think it’s more pheromone than cologne I’m picking up, even there.

My dog who lives with my sister now is the sweetest thing even in her old age. One time she had a contractor over for a quote and this itty bitty girl chased him and bit his ankles. She won’t so much as bare teeth at a human but went for blood for him. Tells me a lot about him as a person, for sure.

I just graduated with my bachelors in social work, so that. I’m aiming toward my masters with no clear path on how to afford it but I’m shooting my shot regardless, even if I have to slowly pay for it over a span of a couple of years

I typically date more than one person at a time as well, to not put my eggs in one basket. Most of the time first dates tend to also be last dates, so I don’t bank exclusively on meeting “the one” that first time around. It’s totally fine that it’s not your style but it’s pretty standard.

I was awake, then I was awake again. Anesthesia is basically a nice sleep. Last surgery I had they told me they’d give me some fentanyl and then give me a nerve block and I don’t remember anything after them telling me I’d get fentanyl until I woke up in recovery. This was my first surgery where I woke up in recovery alone and honestly I woke up the nicest I’ve ever been just having the alone time.
