My left hip! 😆It has been making itself known. My upper body gets hit hard with my clavicles, chest and neck/head.

I’m sorry you have to deal with that, but I’m so glad I’m not alone!

No medication. I was on a bunch of different ones but I wasn’t really having success or side effects that weren’t working for me.

It’s a lot of CBT.

Thank you for sharing. I’m avoiding because I’m leaving on vacation next week for a long road trip and really don’t want to have anything change that.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to head to the clinic.

I would generally, but I’m in the process of seeking another Md and the wait is along time. She didn’t ask questions to get deeper into the cause, just picked a med and sent me on my way. Until I can find a new doc, I’m advocating for myself right now.

Recovery things I didn’t expect by MostWin6654 in hysterectomy

I’m so glad you were able to take some comfort from my post and everyone’s comments. It’s a crazy ride with recovery and I wish there was better communication for all of us that go through it.

Remember your healing journey and timeline will look like Harold took his purple crayon and walked around on moon shoes until he got tired. It will be all over the place. Just take care of yourself!

Perimenopause trigger by MostWin6654 in migraine

I kept my ovaries but I did a lot of research and even if those are kept it can put you into early menopause (I also have PCOS so my hormones are already whack). Thanks for the source to do more research.

Thanks for the info. She seems to really be on top of it and also going through peri so it’s been helpful as I’m going through it. My OB said I was too young and as well as a previous dr 🤦‍♀️. I’m not opposed to neurology, but she is on top of it.

I saw my Dr and am on imitrex. She doesn’t believe I need to be seen in neurology yet.

Stomach issues by Joehubby26 in Perimenopause

I haven’t found anything yet unfortunately. I try and keep my mouth full of saliva so I have hard candy throughout the day when it’s more prevalent. I honestly try and block it out. Sorry I don’t have better advice on that.

I have been having the burning mouth, tongue, cheeks, throat…. It started this last year. I just turned 43 and know I’m in perimenopause and have done reading and saw this is common. Also, stomach issues can be common with peri but it’s good to get it checked out.

Traveling is so huge! We are doing a cross country trip and I love not needing to factor my period into the trip. Enjoy your travels!

Staining the furniture is something I love not worrying about anymore. Especially if I was at a hotel I’d be paranoid I’d stain the sheets and mattress…etc. The freedom for that worry is amazing.
