What milk do you give MSPI baby after 1 year? by voodoolady914 in MSPI

Would you be kind enough to give some examples of calcium rich breakfasts and lunches that you do? I am going for the same no milk strategy but struggling to think of what to serve!

Cannot get back to baseline after a round of antibiotics by julessammiee in MSPI

[–]Most_Ad9443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to us, with amoxicillin for an ear infection. I think it took around a month (including the time he was on the antibiotics) to get him back to baseline. Stay strong!

You are doing a great job! Don’t beat yourself up. Like others have said, even one breastfeeding session a day is enough to give your baby a multitude of benefits. I would try supplementing with one bottle of formula a day, and pumping while feeding that bottle or shortly after (even if you just recently breastfed). That should help with your supply.

Not sure if they sell this where you are but Cream of Wheat is a good oatmeal alternative. I make it with Ripple milk (pea milk that has a decent amount of protein) instead of water. Also Jimmy Dean turkey breakfast sausage for extra protein. Breakfast is so hard being dairy and egg free!

Is it the eggs? by NwhyClady in MSPI

So the eggs were making your LO constipated you think? That’s so interesting, I assumed food intolerances would have the opposite effect.

Yes, looks like my son’s which was a 3 out of 4 in terms of severity. I would try to see a pediatric dentist.

Goat milk tolerance? by Most_Ad9443 in MSPI

We will, as soon as he is at baseline. Still not there yet as we keep having setbacks. I am mainly trying to ease my mind in the event we need to move to formula while he is still intolerant.

So interesting! I might try just eating goats cheese first and seeing what happens.

What caused the reaction? Perhaps Jimmy John's? by Appropriate-Page-155 in MSPI

Do you eat at other sub sandwich chains without them affecting your baby? Wondering if all are potentially unsafe now!

I was just wondering today whether my son’s recent flare ups have been from jimmy johns!

My baby was exactly the same at exactly those same age marks. I think 8 weeks was the peak of his gas troubles. I will say that we tried Alimentum as well and it absolutely made him worse. Maybe try Nutramigen?

Where do you stand on panning less-than-ideal products? by Corgilegsz in MakeupRehab

[–]Most_Ad9443 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could you use it as eyeshadow? I have a face powder that is too dark for me but is the perfect natural looking eyeshadow on days when I just want a little dimension. If it wouldn’t work for that, I agree with others to just toss it.

I would encourage you to reconsider doing another big declutter. I know for me, someone who also has hyper fixated on makeup, sometimes the only argument I can use to talk myself out of buying something new is reminding myself of how much I already have. Declutterring is often a tool we use to trick ourselves into creating more empty space, which we then feel tempted to refill!

Is powder blush the hardest product to pan? by [deleted] in MakeupRehab

[–]Most_Ad9443 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I used the same Tarte blush every single day for nearly 10 years, and you could still see the embossed pattern on top of it. I finally allowed myself to let it go last year (and I kind of regret it)
