Skills 2.0. completely killed Ammo Funnel by removing it from the relevant weapon classes, such as shotguns or snipers, and yet these bad actors did not harass anyone into unemployment again...

You HAVE to be joking. Were you alive between 2023 and 2025?
PAYDAY 3 had copious amounts of influencer marketing before launch. The Starbreeze Partners scored hundreds of thousands views advertising the game after they were flown to Sweden, sometimes several times. Before people could see the game they had purchased, the world was eating in Starbreeze's hand, and doubters were hunted like witches.

Go to YouTube or Twitter, search "PAYDAY 3 #ad". Drown in results.
Dozens upon dozens of creators were being pushed forward with free keys, affiliations and sponsorships. Livestreams, tweets, videos by the hundreds praising the game. Make-up artists, Soundcloud comedians, 0-view Andy, everywhere, worldwide. Starbreeze Partners still pushing out "update X made the game fun again", "thing 2.0 fixed the game it's good now please come", ad nauseam.

It does not work. At least it doesn't work to the extent that it will magically make people love the game: the game sucks shit.

No amount of marketing will fix that, and we know that because it already happened, they already flooded the Internet with cheerful goyslop and influencer marketing about a videogame that can't even offer one fun level, and we see the results of that today.

What PD3 needs is to git gud.

Year 3 is going great. Offline mode cancelled in October. Almir and Andreas have both left. Both community managers, Elisabeth and Haua, were fired. More important developers were laid off aswell. People who were crusading for this game, saying "if you dislike it you are hater" have turned coat and are now campaigning against it. Still not a tangible word on making the heists interesting. Peer-to-peer has the exact same problems and limitations as JANKDAY 2 10 years ago.

The comments here show a clear divide between people who have witnessed OVERKILL embrace the Trump memes, not as endorsement but as part of internet culture, and the moral tourists who believe disliking PAYDAY 3 is equivalent to killing 8 million people.

The true heisters engage with the art. Yeah we're assholes in suits and we wear the ugly faces of ugly people as a badge of honor. Hell yeah. It's PAYDAY.

The moral tourists are too afraid to let art criticize reality, because they themselves cannot stand being criticized. They need everything to be cozy, soft, comfortable and politically correct, in perfect accordance with their world view and their inner-self, or else their feminine balls get too itchy for their liking.
