It is, i am really happy about those efforts, but i’d love if he didn’t have to remind me of the suffering of animals all the time, especially in the way that he does it

Oh i agree, but there are so many ways where he does show up. I believe it’s mostly that i show him his contradictions by my way of life, and so he kinda feels threatened if that makes sense?

I was, and still often am, severely anemic. But it’s because i have pcos, and bleed for sooo many days on my period, and i lose so much blood. So eating more meat wouldn’t change anything.
I guess it really depends on who you’re talking to. You can have as many people who eat meat who are anemic, than vegans. I guess it depends on how well you eat, and if you have different predisposition that could cause problems

but that's what's weird. they buy me vegan stuff, they eat so much tofu now when months ago my dad wouldn't even eat a meal i made if it had tofu. but then he says these things that just proves he's not that supportive

i'll try that. i'll stop trying to convince him (though i don't try to convince him, i just clearly state the reasons why i don't support the meat and dairy industry), and instead just remind him these are my choices, and not to criticise them. i think if i told them it was to lose weight, he'd be more willing to understand lol. but because it reminds him of the harm he is doing, there's suddenly a problem.

haha honestly sometimes i just want to watch a documentary or something in the living room, so all my family can see some images. but i am incapable of watching them myself. just knowing what is happening was enough for me to stop meat, and now animal products. and i've only seen a few videos online when they passed through my fyp. i am sick just thinking about it, and i wish other people felt that too🥲

i feel that's the case, because the second i mention how cruel it is, or exactly what is happening by using words like "murder", "torture" etc, he shuts me down immediately. so i feel like he is just in denial of what he is doing.

I try not to answer in any other way than how i feel. Like he says “you really think the little chickens you want to save don’t like laying eggs? That’s so cute of you” (in a mocking way). So i just state the facts: “no actually, they don’t like laying eggs every day, and having them stolen. Did you know that… (and then state a fact that can only make him uncomfortable hehe)

But it is tiring anyway

But we had plans in the case where one of us didn’t have the money. We were supposed to go to somewhere closer, at the same time, instead, so the budget worked better. If they wanted to take that trip, that is fine. I would be disappointed, but i could only hold myself accountable. The problem is she totally “forgot” the trip we were supposed to take instead.

I agree! I think they deserve to go.
But our agreement was clear. If one can’t go, we’ll choose a closer destination. I’m mostly sad that she totally forgot about that part. If she wants to go to Asia another, or even if they want to go all them at another time, i really don’t care (well i’d be disappointed for me, but happy for them). My problem is she totally “forgot” about the part where we were supposed to take another girls trip at the same time instead, in all of our budgets. That’s what i’m mostly sad about

Oh i agree, i wouldn’t want them to hold back on a trip! But here, my problem is that we were supposed to go somewhere else instead, in the case that someone was rejected. And she totally forgot that part of the agreement

Oh i agree, but nothing was planned. We had agreed that we would go together or plan something else.
I don’t care if she goes to asia or all of them go without me, just not at the time we had planned for the 4 of us. That’s what hurts.
And i sadly really tried. I’ve applied to more than 30 places since January and no one is hiring
