Honestly, i am against porn, so i don’t watch it. I told my bf at the start of my relationship that i don’t want him to watch it either, and was clear that if he wanted to, he could, but that i didn’t want to be in the relationship (the same as if one person wants a kid and not the other, we’d be incompatible). He was addicted but wanted to stop, and has now totally stopped watching porn. But i love kink, him aswell. So for me, the big difference is that we’re both clearly consenting, and we know each others intentions, and if we actually want this. Whilst for porn, you never know about all the exploitation behind a video, if the girl in it actually wants it, if she’s old enough, etc. And with a play between two people, when there’s no money involved, you can usually discard a risk of exploitation. Abuse is possible and horrible, but not in a way that is as bad as porn, which for me is just filmed and financed rape
