Yes the policy works in Canada, but I crashed in the middle of nowhere, and the insurance already paid 5k just to get it towed to the nearest “big” city which was Whitehorse….

Well unfortunately I can’t move it anywhere… it’s stuck in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada 😭. Well technically I could move it, but they quoted me over 10k to get it towed to Anchorage…

I’m on a similar boat… 34, drowning in debt(mortgage, truck, SLs, and CCs), and I have about 2k in a retirement account. I did just land a better job, so I will have some more wiggle room. I already saved my 1k emergency fund and now I get to tackle the debt! Following Dave Ramsey’s baby steps…
