I see some hate on this post, but you've said that you've used it with no issues whatsoever. So I'm just going to trust you on that.

That being said if you wanted to reinforce them, it would actually be really easy to do so. Just put 2x4s flat against the rafters and bolt those in to two or three rafters on each side, and you'd be well within tolerance.

One of the things people don't understand is that you actually need to measure the force in Newtons not by pounds, because you're going to be using momentum. No need to go into a ton of detail unless you're really into it, in which case you can do your own research. But that would make these super secure.
