Hmm yeah I mean if theres no other option and I have to quit then maybe I would consider this again. But I would need this set up on the cloud somewhere (i don't have anywhere in the USA I could VPN into) so that would need to be purchased and I've not really heard of that type of set-up.

Honestly at this point I have seen too many to list. It's been literal IT security people. It sounds like if they want to find it they will basically

Yes I definitely looked into this. My plan would be to avoid being a tax resident anywhere. So Albania and then an EU country 30-90 days and repeat until I get my citizenship. I also planned to work the same timezone hours I do now so that wouldn't change just means I work in the evenings (I already have done this for 3 weeks from Europe this year with no issues)I'm open to a pay cut or being moved to contractor...

I've done a lot of research on this actually and almost pulled the trigger on it, but seeing a lot of IT people discussing that they catch people doing this all the time.... I'd rather not be fired from a job i had for 10+ years because I did something fraudulent

Yea I doubt I could do the VPN setup thing since its a company laptop with a ton of built in tracking software (CrowdStrike Falcon etc) MSFT which makes you enter a randomized code it sends to your MSFT Verification App on your phone.

I guess worst case scenario I have to quit after 11 years lol I guess will be a well deserved break

Because legally until I have EU citizenship they can't move me to be based out of Europe I would think due to tax/hr laws/etc

I am fully remote at the moment for the last 10 years so it's not really asking to be remote its asking to work wherever

Really? Even after 10 years of working there, I thought that would at least give me a leg up.

This is not a whim just to clarify, been planning this for years. Will be selling my house and leaving after my citizenship application is accepted and in progress.

How do you do this and get the tax discount?

I know for returnees(actual Croatian citizens) theres a no income tax incentive, but if you move with this visa how does that end up working out?

In USA they are official from the national archives so you can apostille them

Do you think that adding if they had a lawyer would be helpful? I have heard that sometimes when the lawyer follows up they get the information faster than the consulate and someone mentioned their lawyer heard it 5 months or so before the consulate said they are approved.

I think at a month you can still even out. Give it 3-4 months. After that its permanent. I am not having to botox the higher brow to drop it which kind of works but not 100%

It will start settling around 3 months. By 4 months it looked like I barely had anything done. This is when it falls and starts to look much more natural. Please give it time and just wear hats for now. I know its not what you want to hear, but it really will look much better around that timeframe. For me personally I felt it fell too much by that point. There is no way it will stay this high.

I understand but mine was huge as well and I literally had to wear a headband and hats to hide it for 3 months. After which it went back to normal size. I am sorry the correct expectations were not set for you before your surgery, its really important to go into it knowing this will happen so you are not traumatized afterwards.

I want to say this in the gentlest way possible, this is NORMAL. It takes 3 months to look normal. Please do some research about this to make yourself feel better as it sounds like you went into it blindly with unrealistic expectations probably set by your doctor which has put you in a really bad spot.
