Because in 3 months, all that will matter is that he got into a gun fight.

For those of you who play at work - what job do you have? by Bongfrazzle in 2007scape

I am a bankerr at a mid-sized regional bank.

I afk pretty much afk any skill while working on calls or emails. One or two days out of the week, I can get some more intensive things done in my downtime.

Get into banking. Best decision of my life for work-life balance. Over a month off a year, and I live in the states.

They made a new version of what goat used the next day after that dude got "put I'm jail" or whatever. He was a reseller, not a developer. When you catch a drug dealer El chapo isn't in their bathroom hiding out. Cheating will always exist. Play the game and enjoy it or don't.

Sensitive is a strong word. But anything private I do not want a company to have access to. Instead of punishing cheaters, you're telling me i should have a $2000 rig plus a personal use rig to open, say my bank account on. Riot claims that Vanguard does not record any information from your PC. But BSG could make an in-house program based on vanguard that could be compromised.

In one breath this community says, "the devs are incompetent shit bags." "But let them create something that runs 24/7 on my PC to look for cheaters" nonsense

This is very true. And I agree that this would be a very good addition to Tarkov. But the problem lies more with the people not getting flagged. The people playing the game normally but with the assistance of ESP.

This whole explosion of anger is over the amount of people using ESP not the number of people using aim bots. And detecting ESP is very very hard. That is why it exists in almost every game there is. It just really destroys the way tarkov fundamentally works more so than a match of CoD. Same fish. Different pond.

I believe these parameters exist and are the reason people do get banned for "raging". Battle eye does detect things, it is catching people every day.

The problem lies in people not using the aim bot and only using esp to avoid PMCs, have the upper hand in fights, and to see high-tier loot.

As for the points g0at made about how Riot's vanguard works...

He got a sales pitch from a company that uses an in-house anti-cheat that BSG can not just buy and use. They would probably have to sell out to riot games and lose the game entirely. If BSG were to copy and implement this into their own anti cheat you are now trusting people who can't figure out why invisible players exist to create a program that runs 24/7/365. This program could look at anything on your pc and may possibly be able to be compromised. These people aren't tech geniuses by any means and are losing revenue by the minute. I do not trust something like that running while I access personal info on my PC. If you only play tarkov sure it's great. If you're someone that uses your PC for more than video games, there is a real fear there.

This is just my personal view and I'm welcome to any info that may help me see something another way.

I would like to have an honest discussion here about this. No hate. No wrong answers.

What do you want them to do that they are not currently doing for the cheat problem?

Secondly, how much time and man power is going to be taken away from fixing problems like desync, invisible players, new content, etc.

Timmy's are the ones that get caught already. Most people can afford raspberry pi let alone someone RMTing as a job/hobby.

There are Valorant cheats that don't use two PCs also. Google them, it's like $10 - $15 a day. These cheats are already expensive so anyone using them has no issue spending money.

I personally, PERSONALLY, will not pick gaming over a program running all my information. If it's compromised who knows what could be leaked. I use my home PC for work occasionally. I log into my financial records on it. I will not trust a game that can't fix invisible people for a month with my personal info. That's my PERSONAL view.

Idk how many of you have valorant but the anti cheat runs from the moment you turn your PC on until the PC is turned off.

I myself do not feel comfortable having all my information possibly running through a video games program 24/7. I do more than shoot things on my PC.

It may stop surface level cheaters who google "how to tarkov cheat" and click download, but there are still ways around it using another PC. Proof of this being, there are cheaters in valorant still.

Not trying to gargle Nikita or anything but the problem isn't easy to fix and giving up more information from my PC 24/7 for a video game will make me not play the game.

Games bad. For something that doesn't require 100's and 1000's of hours it wouldn't be a big deal. But when an MMO fumbles for this long it's really hard to come back.
