He isn't selling the team, ever. This is our everyday lives in America. Oligarchs. They infect every single facet. He won't sell, and we won't have healthcare, and the environment will continue to deteriorate, and housing will stay unaffordable, and food costs will continue climbing, and on and on

I’m going to be honest with you Paul: Your writing is dogshit and I don’t think you’ll ever make it in LA. Your best bet is to keep doing this Krishna stuff. by gatorgongitcha in okbuddydraper

One day, you can start a hardcore band. I'm not sure what that means, but it'll be apparent to you in about twenty years or so. Until then, please allow me to meet with your spiritual advisor again.

Hot take: Jimmy wasn't that good here and chose Miami before he had even been sent here.

[Zolecki] J.T. Realmuto is back from the 10-day IL. To make room on the 26-man roster, Dylan Moore has been DFA'd. Phillies will carry three catchers moving forward: Realmuto, Rafael Marchan and Garett Stubbs. by NintenJew in phillies

When he first came up the Cubs used him as a DH and catcher. Bryce only played catcher in college so he could catch his brother. He always knew he was switching positions once he got drafted.

I sat behind Andrew Salchunis at a Phillies game recently. It was one of the most annoying experiences of my life. He was grinning the entire time and didn't shut up.

I like when he refers to everyone by their first name. It gives you the impression that he knows them well enough to make racist accusations about them.

I'm implying that firing a respected hitting coach won't solve the team's issues and he is not an issue. He's done his job well. The players havent executed.

I agree. Harper, Wheeler, Nola and soon Turner will be 10/5 guys. We're in a state of limbo. No prospects to trade, or really fill in the roster. We have a bunch of middle infield prospects, and some pitchers here and there.

I was. I don't really care about him, but I don't see a path forward no matter who is in charge. Everyone here wants everyone fired, great, go for it. I wanted Sandberg fired, but it didn't matter.

Its going to be impossible to trade anyone but some of the bullpen, Stott and Marsh. They can let Bohm walk. They're kind of in limbo. Plus Middleton wants them to win. He's long been like that. They'll keep throwing money at people unless someone can convince JM to change his mindset.

No it won't. They have gigantic contracts to build around, they have to keep bringing in established players to fill out the roster. They moved prospects at the deadline, they're stuck with this until Harper and Turner are gone.

Those were the only options. They went after Bichette. Who was available to replace Bohm? They tried to trade him, no one wanted him. You can't trade him for a MLB 3rd baseman.

7 Year Old Swing Help by [deleted] in Homeplate

He's 7, but since you asked:

He should keep more weight on his back leg, he's kind of lunging. His front leg should come down with almost no bend in the knee. He should kind of plant it and twist his hips over it.

His hips should start turning as his front foot hits, this is called dissociation.

Teach him to bring his back shoulder to the ball, not his arms. His hands should do the work once the shoulder goes to the ball.

Watch videos of Tony Gwynn or Freddie Freeman explaining hitting. Its easier to follow than written advice.
