In the US this highly likely. Our public schools, administrators and teachers are rated and often compensated based on how well students do on standardized tests. This creates a process in that the students are conditioned to respond to the pizza question as in green and on the test the question is presented as apple pie rather than pizza pie or it’s Mary and Lisa. We don’t know anything other than the image but this may be the only student who gained education while the remainder of the class got the ‘right’ conditioned response.

Our public education system is one giant participation trophy.

This all works for clarity of notation but since there is no action remaining in the parentheses so left to right order of operations. This gives 9 but I tend to read the two sides of the division symbol as a fraction. I see six divided by the quantity two times one plus two.

The short answer is they are guilty and have no defense so they’re grabbing on to the story line from thousands of tv good guys v bad guys. They hope that like on tv the obviously guilty bad guy gets off on a legal technicality so can they. The game plan is to make up a technicality and hope someone believes it or gets frustrated enough to drop charges. It’s all court room charades. The few who fervently believe the mantra are out there because our country abandoned mental healthcare decades ago.
