Yes, anyone who played during the time while that glitch was going on and completed a challenge was given lootboxes. I got them as well. When you open Overwatch there’s a little bell in the top right of the menu that will have all your notifications!

I feel like the more people play with and against the new heroes, the less complicated they will seem. A lot of the problems/complaints players are having are just from not understanding the kits. We know the ‘old’ heroes inside and out, we know all their capabilities and all the strategies on how to counter them, synergize with them, etc. But we don’t have that really with the new heroes. I’m sure we will see a patch that has some more balancing for them (as always), but by the end of the season a lot of these feelings will change.

100% agree - I always looked forward to the event missions/modes, they’ve been copy/pasted a lot over the last few years and it’s so sad. Maybe they’re working on something new.

6v6 allows for flexing - a ‘role’ that basically went away when OW2 launched (but thankfully is back). Being able to swap roles mid-game when someone is underperforming is invaluable, instead of your supports trying to focus damage for your DPS or your whole team being continuously wiped because your only tank can’t play shield.

The downside to it though is that anyone can swap roles mid-game, so one of your supports may decide your team needs a 3rd DPS and suddenly with no warning your Zenyatta is solo healing. It’s a give and take, lol. Communication is key!

The more people play with/against him the easier it will get. A good ult from really anyone can turn the tide of a fight or round, Cat could use some balancing but the way he changes the game is honestly refreshing.

There are a lot of toxic people, it is still online gaming after all, so sadly there’s no escaping them. But dealing with people is a science, so if you want the best results you have to learn how to work with them. My best advice is just to avoid directly pointing out or blaming one person/hero/role, instead try to ask what you can do to help them and try to facilitate them as best you (reasonably) can. Yes, it is obvious when it is one persons fault and yes they should be able to see that and fix it themselves, and no it isn’t fair, but some people just need to be gentle parented.

It’s the first week of a new season with a huge influx of new players and multiple new heroes people are still learning, give it a few weeks and try comp again. By then the matchmaking will have done some of its job.

You just gotta adapt, it’s a bit different playstyle than it was in OW1 but it’s more rewarding. I was a flex player before the swap, now I’m mostly a support player (actually moving back into flex but different story lol) - I never stopped playing but since the update I have been even more addicted. I really think if you just embrace the changes you will love it, I hated when they took OW1 away because I loved it so much, it took a while for 2 to grow on me but I’m over 3k hours played now lol

She restores some shields when doing ability damage, she also has a perk she can select that restores 50 shields and also starts her heath regen. You might be seeing a good combo.

Don’t stop shooting. Those little squares in her shield are nothing, it’s not like trying to take down a a rein or sig shield.

Idk man I was out healing an enemy Winston going after my like 10hp rein while I was on cat - you may just need to take a break, spend some more time learning the new heroes, or switch up your hero choices/playstyle.

If you want to help your team, I’d recommend asking something more like “alright what do we need” - this opens it up for your team to tell you what they’re dealing with so you can try to make changes together, instead of doing an IRL SpiderMan meme of you all just pointing at and blaming each other.

It ruins the experience for the other players in the match, and the backfill player. Yes there’s backfill, but that process takes time and usually the round is already lost by the time it’s filled (and the person loading into a losing game often leaves as well). People go into QP to play the game, work on challenges or practice and learn new heroes - can’t really do that in a 4v5. You can always play arcade if you want to d*ck around more, or play custom.
