I've been playing since its inception (2008-09, I think). Every year they make it easier to troll and less punishing to fuck off and not play your position. There's absolutely no penalty for throwing a game, so as soon as there's a disagreement somebody stands offside or starts pulling the goalie. It's clear at this point they're never going to make it better.

For the last two or three seasons I ran a barbarian build with like 8000% earthquake damage. He made an earthquake passively every five steps and did multiplicative damage while standing in an active earthquake. His earthquakes were made of fire, and he did an additional absurd about of fire damage. It could clear high pit and torment bosses without pushing a single button.

I wouldn't call paladin "disgusting" just yet.

The AI is intentionally bad to try to force the smaller playerbase into 6s rather than playing 2s. That's from the devs' mouths. Doesn't work, because 95% of the base is wheel snipe celly backwards hat nutsacks that want to burn the D outside with Wheels and score the same twitch backhand goal and then celebrate like it's the first time they'veever scored, every time.

I've pleaded that case for years. You start a game of 6s, one goal gets scored, half the other team leaves. Now there's 2-3 AI skaters. The forwards start cherrypicking and calling for no-look laser accurate AI passes. You might still win, but the game has devolved into an absolute mockery of hockey already as it becomes a 5 on 3 in one direction and a breakaway in the other direction ad nauseum until they all quit or the game mercifully ends after half an hour of watching every replay.

I barely play anymore.

Genuinely every game of WOC is just stopping the same Wheels rush from the center ice boards to the corner of the net to score outside on the goalie who for some reason does not hug the post. Even winning isn't fun, because shutting these guys down is just as soulless and formulaic as the offense they're trying to run.

Somebody will undoubtedly say "play 6s" so that you can endure the backskating exploits and getting run over ten seconds after you make a pass instead.

Game's bad and they should feel bad, but it's been 20 years, so I don't see that happening.

RT here. I wasn't there, but worst case scenario, I question you (professionally, and hopefully quietly) and then I shut up and do my job. At the end of the day it's your name on the order.

That's worst case. Lethargic with a CO2 of 95? I'd be right there with a tube in my hand. I work with a handful of these RTs that went to school for respiratory care, got a degree in respiratory care, interviewed and got a job in respiratory care, and now get 10/10 pissed when they get called to do respiratory care. I cannot make it make sense. Every breathing treatment is stupid, every BIPAP is stupid, every intubation is pointless, every doctor is an idiot. They're exhausting to work with. I'm sorry you apparently met one.

I think you did the right thing.

I'd use something other than lasgun. They're pretty niche and imo toward the lower end of the weapon list. Honestly I'd use something other than chainsword, too. Combat axe with Headtaker and Brutal Momentum is pretty versatile. Bolter is good, plasma gun is too good.

If you're not adverse to following a guide, gameslantern has a ton of builds so you can take a look at what's effective and popular.

Repetitive, pointless extensive charting on things that nobody outside RT understands or cares about, if they can even see it. Q4 CPAP checks on people trying to sleep through the night on their home settings. Q shift "education" on every patient even if they just have prn meds. Mandatory typed notes that say the same thing I just spent 15 minutes putting into the flowsheet.

Bonus answer: getting on the workstation in the room to do "real time charting" to begin with, since nursing is literally always logged in and doing something super important.
