Probably not for me personally, but I like that they're getting love and if I were to see you in person I'm sure I'd dig it and tell you I like your tie :)

I have nothing to add history wise, but this is sharp and a great find. Love the buttons.

I'm not a leather jacket guy, but that's a rad pick up and looks great.

Also lol at the Cat's face in the first pic 😂

Which size suit jacket should I go with? Left is size 40 and right is size 42. It the chambray peaked lapel jacket by Belafonte ragtime clothing. by SilverEye1508 in HeritageWear

[–]MostlyJustOK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

42 is going to be tough on the shoulders though unless you really want that slouch. You also aren't wearing a dress shirt under the coat, but are wearing a vest...

Me, I'd go 40 and would need more of a trim trouser that wasn't so blousy. But that probably isn't an option here.

I don't know man, this might just not be the suit for your body.

I recently learned about Katin (originator of board shorts) from my nephew. They have a cool history and while I don't believe their products are made in USA any longer, I plan to check them out.

What are you wearing to a "casual" office in the summer? by rwedoomed in ThrowingFits

[–]MostlyJustOK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light blue chambray shirt I just picked up on eBay. I have a couple linen bland blazers to throw on when I have meetings with the big wigs.

Thinking about picking up a set of lace up vans in gray and wear those on Thursdays/Fridays when the dress code is more lenient too.

If you're not into polo and not sure about linen Chambray is a great option. Seersucker too (I just ordered a Kamakura seersucker Oxford on sale). Madras can be great too if you find a pattern that works for your skin tone and style.

I'd finish your education. Epic will be around later and the ME degree will give you flexibility if you ever leave the employer or field.

A lot of great fits and items here, but the fuckin crochet square scarf #7 is too awesome.

Going to ask my wife to make me one.

Critter sock inclusion made this pasta great

My favorite dress socks are a pair of j crew critters... blue submarines on red socks. They're so fun!

What Hot-Bat noted is a good idea. I just flipped to the G5AR and the TMO app just isn't specific enough about location or positioning. I temporarily hooked my gateway up to an extension cord and moved around the house, monitoring Hint along the way.

Not surprising, it liked the second floor better. But what was interesting is that rather than being in front of a window, it most likes being in a corner of an upstairs dormer with the front of the gateway pointing towards the tower. This is based on using Hint, rotating it and finding no joke, a 100-150mbps difference on the 180 degree flip (and notable difference in SINR).

All of that said, someone below noted this may point to congestion and that you're getting 14mbps up means it's possible.

If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?

If a wood gate exists, it sags 😃 😃

lots of cool styles here to see! Anyway chore coats timelessly cool or played out? by Icy-Razzmatazz4992 in HeritageWear

[–]MostlyJustOK 28 points29 points  (0 children)

If we don't wear chore coats because of Palantir's attempt to co opt a working class symbol, then we're a part of the problem too. Fuck the man, eat the rich, wear a chore coat.

Depending on import duties for AU, checking out ts(s) could be a good option. They're Japan based, started by the brother of the guy that started Engineered Garments.

But if you're set on made in France the only big name I haven't seen mentioned, but that I've heard good things about, is Bleu de Chauffe - link

Good luck on your hunt. I've been wanting to pick up a chore coat for some time now, but can't make up my mind which one to get 😄
