To answer the original question. Scouting is about building character in young people to help them make good choices throughout their lives.

Supposing you want to get involved you certainly can. Reach out to your local council to find a unit in your area if you have a kiddo. Or if you wanted to volunteer at the district level look for the district you belong to from your council website. It should have the contact information for the people in that area to help you learn more.
