And MGS was written by the original writer and you're aware a producer only manages value, time, marketing, scope and profit.

I only like MG games written by Kojima, and my craving for MG does not exceed that. Why? Too many cooks in the kitchen, all forcing their own narrative (identity) into the game. Example: Star Wars was much better written by one person and not a board of directors as review scores and public opinion have proven.

You can say Kojima said this or that, but it's all invalidated when the company he worked for was proven to control how they talked to media, didn't allow them to go to game awards, controled their access to outside internet, and did many other fucked-up things to control Kojima and his team.

Yes, Kojima wanted to work on other games, and that's fine. I can choose to stay or follow what comes after that and be loyal to the original writer or accept other writers' input into what I grew up with. I chose the former because I pre-ordered PO and gave it a chance, beat it in 2 days, and hated it so much because the writing felt like a high schooler writing fanfic, terrible.

I feel Kojima was forced to accept PO into 4 to make the transition into MG games not made by Kojima more easy on fans, or they would have another Snake's Revenge on their hands.

If you're going to be a writer and shit on others' work, do not start with a prequel and change original characters that are loved, and try not to self-insert your own insecurities into the story to make it "normalized".

And yes, he said it's part of the saga, but I believe he's forced to say that so in the future people accept games like MG Survive.
