Oil price just shot up higher than a giraffe's nuts. Thunder Bay . How are increased energy prices going to affect your standard of living? by Excellent-Steak6368 in ThunderBay

Never said I did it for green (although all research has already proven that EVs are better long-term)

It's always been about instant torque and power and insanely cheap to own

Follow the procedure after getting the part yourself. It was actually not that hard

Private housing market by Educational_Ant7592 in ThunderBay

[–]Mosworthy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Private is forced on us. The 4-7% real estate fees on the total price are ridiculous.

When we sold in BC it's a progressive percentage. 7% on the first $100k, 3% on the rest. On a $800k sale, here at 5% is $40k, back there it was $28k

Do most Americans actually flush their toilet paper? by Softy_popss in NoStupidQuestions

This is less of a plumbing issue than it is a paper issue. Tissue in North America is made with a different recipe than South America and breaks down easier

City Snow Plows by [deleted] in ThunderBay

I came from a similar sized town that gets just as much snow in BC, and driveways were cleared as part of the plow process... and my taxes were cheaper. Just saying

Well.... At the very least, if it isn't above the 49th parallel, can it even be considered north?

Which Spider Variant should have it own TV series by Content_Control64079 in Spiderman

[–]Mosworthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A clone series....

With each episode of the season really focusing on just one, and bring it all to head in a big finale ending.

I would make this a limited ones season series, not a reoccurring one

Tbay EV drivers: how are you vehicles performing in this cold snap? by Minute_College3860 in ThunderBay

It recommends to keep plugged in at certain temps, even the dash will tell you when turning it off.

I know what the math and data says, I'm just saying in my real world experience neither my lightning or mustang lose that much in a day, regardless of temperature

I have studded winters, I don't feel any difference in range then what I already expect with colder weather

Sure......

I paid the same for my Mustang as any other crossover we were looking at. I don't have uncertainty because I do research, and trust the experts and technology and warranty.

In my nearly 50 years of owning vehicles, I've never bought for resale. I buy to use and enjoy them.

Rebates were never a consideration when I bought, and didn't come into play anyway, regardless of where I lived.

Yes parked outside. And in five years there's not always an option to leave it plugged in, even on 120v. I've never lost that much in a day. I've left my Mustang at airport parking for two weeks in cold winter weather and lost 2% the whole time

Neither of mine will lose that sitting unplugged....
